  1. Shout out to Brian Walker playing great at HB and getting his first CFL interception
  2. You're right. Thank you. @Rich
  3. Emmanuel Davis was set to come back and play HB for the first time this season but he has food poisoning. Terrence Frederick will start in his place.
  4. There are problems with posting tweets. I used to be able to post a link and it would automatically embed the tweet. https://twitter.com/EdTaitWFC/status/896501442952912896 That is no longer happening.
  5. Steph has put her body on the line too.... And I don't think we've seen her since!
  6. Ekakatie is inactive tonight
  7. I'm not sure Ricky Ray belongs with those other 3 names either
  8. Lions, confirmed http://3downnation.com/2017/08/12/bombers-canadian-ol-decides-stay-lions-attempt-get/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+JustinDunk3downnation+(3+Down+Nation-Justin+Dunk+) Offensive lineman Qadr Spooner turned down the B.C. Lions in order to stay in Winnipeg. The Lions tried to claim the 25-year-old off the practice roster, but he stayed with the Bombers for loyalty reasons. Winnipeg drafted Spooner and have a plan for his development, plus the coaches there are high on him. Spooner measures six-foot-four, 309 pounds and brings a nasty, relentless playing style to the field – a trait Mike O’Shea covets. Winnipeg felt fortunate to land him in the second round, 15th overall in the 2017 CFL draft. He was a conference all-star coming out of McGill University. Winnipeg has Matthias Goossen (starting centre), Sukh Chungh (starting right guard), Patrick Neufeld (backup tackle or guard), and Michael Couture (backup centre) on the roster, which has allowed the Bombers the luxury of time to teach Spooner the pro nuances. Then when he gets on the gameday roster he’ll be properly prepared and ready.
  9. He is one of the all-time greats, IMO
  10. There was a period of time when Calvillo, Ray, and Burris were the elite QBs in the CFL.
  11. What? I like Nichols.
  12. Well we're not getting that any time soon. We are likely stuck with Trudeau until he decides it's time for him to leave.
  13. If anyone deserves it, it's him. He's been one of the best DE's in the league for almost a decade.
  14. He is 14-5 since taking over from Drew Willy but he was 2-5 for Winnipeg in 2015 (5-2 with Edmonton). His career record is 21-12.
  15. Lol well yes I hope that decision never happens but it doesn't matter if it's Trump, Obama, or Abe Lincoln, if the decision for a US prez is Winnipeg vs Chicago, they're taking Chicago. We can be our own country but military might is not cheap. If we have a big brother who wants to protect us from the rest of the world, I think we're right to rely on them. With only ~35 million people, we're never going to be able to defend the second largest country in the world. We need the US and they need us.
  16. I believe his record is 21-12 with a 59:38 TD:INT ratio.
  17. Holy **** BB take it easy man
  18. Two very different scenarios and very different QBs. Glenn's yardage totals come from his longevity. He is a career .500 QB. Jennings went over 5000 in his third season, won 12 games, put the team on his back and willed them to a playoff win. I know it sucks to see Wally unearth another star QB but it is what it is. He is a top talent, miles above Kevin Glenn.
  19. Quite sure that if we are attacked in any way, the nutbar president to the south will have our back. I'm more worried about the guy running our country. If NK attacks us, his first response will be to ask them what we did to make them attack us like that, and how can we make it up to them?
  20. With teams gravitating more and more towards stadiums of 25K or fewer seats, could we possibly target smaller, less traditional cities? THF in Hamilton holds 24k and was built for roughly $145M. Could cities like Windsor, Kelowna, or Sherbrooke be interested? Could they drum up support for a CFL team?
  21. I'd fiddle with it so there would be 10 games in division and 8 games out. More fun that way.
  22. Yes it was me, I am very, very smart. He is committed elsewhere though. As Darian Durant's backup's backup.
  23. Absolutely not. The divisions must always remain. The crossover takes care of any imbalance and makes it fair enough.
  24. Apparently Van Gylswyk left with an injury and Crapigna is already hurt. I guess someone has to do it
