  1. I don't think so. Jennings passed for over 5000 yards and had 27 TDs against 15 INT. He is legit. Michael Bishop couldn't go ten passes without turning the ball over. Great arm though.
  2. Probably Our Lady Peace
  3. Big bad Bo has ZERO rushing yards. That part of his game is completely absent. When Nichols needs yards at a critical time he puts his shoulder down and gets them. Yeah it's ugly but his teammates love him for it.
  4. I think Ottawa's defence has looked okay but they're not making the big play when they have the opportunity. The offence looks terrible though.
  5. Darrin Bauming‏ @DarrinBauming Jun 27 O'Shea not prepared to speak on the severity of Bruce Johnson's lower-arm injury. Had been sporting a cast. No timeline. Doubtful Saturday. https://twitter.com/DarrinBauming/status/879776111642779649
  6. Gotta pick that off!!! Come on Ottawa. Kenny Stafford!
  7. Yeah I still think he's gone. "Roster move." Yeah, they moved him right off the roster.
  8. Apparently they are a Canadian band that everyone knows and loves
  9. Jeremiah Johnson
  10. Gotta think he is bound for the Ticats or Riders.
  11. I wouldn't put him above Reilly or Mitchell but he's getting close. Six games is a small sample size but he's been doing it for 20. If he continues to play as well as he has over his last 20 games and the Bombers keep winning, I don't see how anyone can deny it. Now let's get a Grey Cup ring on his finger and the debate is over.
  12. I am surprised but I also had the feeling O'Shea wasn't going to be taking out Brian Walker. I'm surprised it is a release though. I guess he makes too much money to sit on the bench.
  13. Top 3 in the league as I said earlier this season. By the end, everyone will be saying it.
  14. Family, religion, friendship. These are the three demons you must slay if you wish to succeed in football.
  15. Edmonton not as good as their record.... Ottawa better than their record.... hmm.... Ottawa wins!
  16. I think confidence plays a part in it. A player in BC might be saying "Hey I'm good enough to play now." They might even look at Saskatchewan and say "Wow, I could start on their OL right now." I think that is the root of the decision. Players believing that they are better than the PR. Some might be right, some might be wrong. But guys who make it to the pro ranks are usually not short on self-confidence so they might be willing to take the risk.
  17. So what's the point of bringing up how fortunate these players are to be making the PR salary? Just for fun?
  18. It's the most ridiculous thing to argue. It's like an employee going into the boss's office looking for a raise and the boss starts lecturing the employee on how much the bums outside would love to be making his salary.
  19. It doesn't matter if $15,000 would be a great paycheque for a person in poverty. When someone offers you a drastically higher payday than what you're getting, do you sit there and say "Oh well I'm already doing better than a poor person, why do I need even more?" Nobody thinks like that and it would be absurd to expect someone to.
  20. Yeah I thought the same thing. But their house show ads have always seemed to live in a different universe than what they are showing on RAW and Smackdown. I guess it comes down to business vs. kayfabe. If you know Brock is going to be there, you advertise it now to get ticket sales.... **** the storyline lol.
  21. Yeah they were advertising that on commercials during RAW last week. The lineup for the Winnipeg show looks spectacular.
  22. Right. It's really all about balance and working with what you have. Calvillo, under Trestman, was also very good at getting the ball away quickly so it lessened the need for him to have extra blocking. Add the near-telepathic level of communication between Calvillo and Cahoon and then you've really got something.
  23. QB needs to get the ball away quickly when he recognizes they are outnumbered. There are always going to be sacks. More blockers will result in more coverage sacks, throwaways, knockdowns and interceptions because there will be fewer targets. Our OL in 2009 allowed the fewest sacks because they had Jon Oosterhuis on the field as an extra blocker all the time. But the offence suffered overall. It's not as simple as just using more blockers.
  24. Right. 15k versus at least 52k for someone on the active roster. Plus the opportunity to actually play. You'd have to be pretty damn confident in your current situation (or lacking the confidence in your ability to play) to turn down that offer from another team. More money and more opportunity.
