I don't think Matthews is done with the NFL but if we could get him to sign here, I would do it in a second. He would dominate, IMO.

I believe it was 2007 when Ike Charlton and Juran Bolden both came back from the NFL after Labour Day and it was a real boost to the team. It would be nice to add a player or two right now, whether that is an American or a Canadian. Chris Matthews, Terrell Sinkfield, Jeff Knox, Erik Harris and Derel Walker could all make an immediate impact here, IMO.

It's hard to expect everyone to be truly unbiased. You can tell Dunigan and Stegall still love the Bombers. I never felt that "Oh no!" by Suitor was a slight against the Bombers. Just an honest reaction to the last possible thing anyone thought would happen at that point.

Expecting a close game with 80+ points scored in total. Some real fireworks offensively. This is nowhere near being an easy win. The Riders are going to come out and try to punch us right in the mouth. If we can keep it within 7 points heading into the half, I think we take the game.

Truly. I've partied with some great Rider fans and also had to fight for my life (literally) against some for the crime of wearing blue and gold in Regina on Labour Day weekend. There is good and bad in every fanbase.

Yes we have Couture. The question is how much depth do you need? And is Spooner ready to play? You seem sure that he is... I'm not ready to make that declaration. We've seen multiple teams going FIVE men deep into their OL depth over the last couple seasons. You have to be ready for that, especially when you're a contender and making a push for a championship. If Neufeld brings in a star player to improve the team this year? I'd consider it. If Neufeld brings in a 2018 second round pick? I'll pass.

Yes. It is nice to currently be reaping the rewards of a healthy OL. But catastrophe can strike at any time and a fully healthy line can be 3 men into our depth in a single week. It will be nice to have Couture, Neufeld, and Foketi at that time so we don't have to expose Spooner before he is ready, or worse, sign a guy off the street and hope he can play. If we are going to ship out OL depth, it better be a damn good return that makes us better this year. Now is not the time to shop our depth for draft picks.

Coombs was close to a 1000-yard pace before his injury. But yeah... he has shown no ability to stay healthy. I actually think Neufeld is a nice comparison... decent Canadian starter-level players who just happen to be band-aids. Cross is a good fullback. That was a great draft pick. But I still like what we've got at that position.

I think ROH has the potential to be great if someone with deep pockets came in and poured some money into it. But they have to pick the right time... maybe when Vince steps away from WWE or dies and there is some turmoil.
