@Mark F Never read the book but I really liked the movie.

**** the rules! I'm Chris Jones *****!

Other than their stance on gay marriage what other values are outdated?
-
Say what now?

That's exactly what I said!!! But I believe it constitutes a catch when he is able to plant and pivot and begin taking a step in the other direction.
-
He did though. Just not after the pivot. He caught the ball, took a step backwards, pivoted on that foot, took half a step and got blown up.
-
I'm just a worrier I guess. That's why my friends call me Whiskers.
-
Looked like a catch and fumble to me. Caught it, turned and took a step. That's a catch and a fumble, IMO.
-
Yeah probably. I just think you go out and find the six best defencemen and let them play. Overall talent level is more important than which side they play on. I honestly think if you threw Buff on the left side he would thrive there. A guy with a shot like his would absolutely crush it in the offensive zone on his off-side.
-
I guess they saw Jake Thomas filling in on the OL one too many times and have decided to not let that happen again.
-
I have some faith in Carmichael but two rookies on the field side does have me a little worried...
-
Never said it doesn't matter. I said they make it work everywhere else which isn't a matter of opinion, it's fact. Of course guys prefer to play their correct side, I'm saying it's not as big a deal as we make it out to be here.
-
So basically you trust them more because you agree with their bias. Look at it from the opposite side: "I'll trust more of what FOX says than CNN because it sets off Obama & his surrogates which tells me they're much more on point than CNN"
-
Only in Winnipeg are we so fixated on guys having to play their correct side. Almost every other team has at least one guy in their top six playing their off-side.
-
What was the question?!
-
Except in this case the 4 million dollar man is actually contributing!
-
Oops personal attack! You said you weren't going to do that! Anyways I'll tell you why I did that. Because if I just posted "CNN is garbage!" then someone would inevitably come back with "OH SO YOU THINK TRUMP IS TELLING THE TRUTH!?", so through the power of foresight I cut that off before it could happen.

Around the League - Regular Season Discussion (Redux)
Atomic replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
There are endless examples of Canadians who came in and started their first ever game. His next paragraph says: You have to go back 25 seasons to 1992 when rookie offensive lineman Chris Morris started the very first game of his 14-season Wall of Fame career with the Eskimos. So he must be referring only to the Esks. But terribly written. -
Classic stats guy analysis! I've heard this many times but here's where it falls apart. The "average" is nice but it doesn't hold up in reality because some games you'll hit it 100% of the time and some games 0% of the time. And when you lose that game by 2 points and you went 0/3 on 2-point conversions you're singing a very different tune!

Yep I love the short term. 4 mil is big money but we don't have much tied up in goaltending right now so we can afford it, IMO.
-
I think Nogier's play towards the end of last year made the Jets management more comfortable with letting Postma go.
-
I wonder what the pricetag is on Steve Mason. 4M? 3M? How about the term? I guess we won't have to wait long to find out.
-
Probably get blasted for this but I think Smith is a top-tier goalie in the NHL who was stuck in a terrible situation in Arizona. He will greatly improve the Flames.

Biggest Rivalry in the CFL: Regina Winnipeg

How long is your Thanksgiving dinner?! -
No you missed the point... I feel like CNN is the same as FOX but just a left-wing bias as opposed to a right-wing bias. I don't even see how you disagreed with me... there was nothing about Trump or CNN in your post, really. It was more of a sermon about how I should express my opinions.
