I don't think it's the new PFF. They are still doing their own thing. PFF actually had Tyrell Ford as one of their top ten players in week 2, the only Bomber that made their list. Right now on the active roster we have seven: WJ, Woods, Adams, Thomas, Schmek, Samson, and Hubert. That could obviously change by the time they put out the depth chart.

I think some of the issues can be chalked up to offseason rust as well. I don't think Collaros totally fell off a cliff and sucks now. They just should have played him in the damn preseason. But they didn't so now he's gotta get caught up, and I believe he will. Same goes for Neufeld, BA, and Bighill... I don't think any of them are totally done, but they needed time to get up to speed. I think this team is gonna get there eventually and end up competing for first in the division. But some questionable decisions are not making it any easier, I would agree with that. On the positive side of things I am encouraged by the look of some of our young talent that did make the team. Terrell Bonds, Devin Adams, Clercius, Lord Keric, these guys look pretty good. I think Tyrell Ford is gonna be a stud by the end of the season if we stick with him. And let's be serious, they are going to get the ball in Streveler's hands and he's going to do some awesome stuff. It's coming.

I see some issues with the team but I also see some reasons for optimism, I think the doom and gloom is overstated at this point. I think there were a lot of concerns going into the season and they have been exacerbated by the 0-2 start and MOS's typical response to it but I'd not be shocked if the Bombers win at home against BC this week and suddenly things look a lot rosier.

I suspect based on the answer that Mitchell will still be our returner in week 3 BUT that could change.

Listening in on the coaches show. First caller is wondering if O'Shea is frustrated with all the injuries and throwing stuff against the wall in his office. O'Shea assures the caller that he is not throwing things against the wall in the office. DT asks if he would like to hit the reset button like in Madden. Mike has not played Madden before. Nor has he played Tecmo bowl. Only Coleco. Second caller. Judy likes Mike's shorts. That's it. Just likes the shorts. Now we've got Jeff on the line. Asking about departures of Dru Brown, Houston, and Janarion. And Collaros is getting a bit older, was that a tough choice? O'Shea says no, not a tough decision. Collaros is the best. Also we prefer players who stay even when we can't match other teams' offers.

Kinda sounds like: WJ-Thomas-Woods-Adams with Schmek and Fayad backing up. And maybe Samson.

If Murphy is in Schoen's place I'm assuming that Schoen is probably just a maintenance day

Bo Levi may have lost some zip on the ball but he hasn't played this well in 2 years or more

He's been typecast as a runner and a bruiser. I've always thought he lacked the deep threat ability but he's also been pretty accurate and good at protecting the football. Even in his brief opportunities in the NFL he was the same guy - effective runner, accurate in the short game, and protected the ball. Ultimately he hasn't started a football game in 5 years so not many of us know what he can do today. I'm personally not close to considering pulling Collaros but Streveler is here to play quarterback so we'll probably get a look at him sooner or later.
