That's exactly what you do when you take my tax money and distribute it to whomever rather than letting me decide what I want to do with it. Because let me tell you, if I had the choice I wouldn't be giving up half my paycheque to foreign aid for people in China or building gender-neutral washrooms at the legislature.

There's lots of countries where you can have exactly that. Why can't there be a place for the people who just want their freedom?

Yes I believe Global had a camera man there for highlights. TSN did as well. I don't think the issue is so much getting a camera in there, it's getting in a whole production team with multiple cameras, sound guys, broadcasters, producers, etc.

I was actually at the 52-0 game in Regina and then the 44-3 game in Calgary. Talk about disappointment.

People die every day. Whether from guns or otherwise. The important part is that people are free to do as they please, and that's what makes America better than any country on Earth. True freedom, although the socialist left attempts to erode it constantly. It's sad really. If people want to live a libertarian lifestyle and accept the risks that come with it, why do socialists always want to take that away?

LeFors retired with a record of 1-8 as a starter. Seemed like a nice guy but come on... he was not good.

Mayweather may UNretire to fight Mcgregor
Atomic replied to Taynted_Fayth's topic in General Discussion
The man is 40 years old. Washed up. Put him out to pasture, take him out back with the shotgun like Old Yeller. Last fight he won was against his girlfriend. McGregor is a 28 year old stud in his prime. Smart, fast, cocky, unbeatable. -

Yeah I don't know, I think McGregor has a pretty good shot. I'll be watching! -
Even the best coaches make bad decisions sometimes. It's not an exact science. Every year 8 out of 9 head coaches fail to win the Grey Cup. I think it's fair to question whether certain decisions they make are the correct ones. It may not be a coaching problem. If all the American linebacker prospects just aren't as good as Hurl.... that's a totally different issue. People are assuming if Hurl wins the job that we have cut better players in Knox, Temple, and Stone but the reality may just be that those guys weren't good enough. I personally haven't seen anything yet from them to say they are better options than Hurl. But Hurl hasn't won the job yet. Let's see how this plays out.

The last half of 2009 was actually pretty entertaining thanks to Michael Bishop, Fred Reid, and Titus Ryan. Bishop had a cannon and the other two may have been the fastest players in the league.

Yes... it may come down to a competition between Coates and Yachison. They have a similar amount of pro experience and Coates being hurt isn't helping his cause. I wouldn't be that surprised if they keep both along with JFG however. Deal with the logjam if and when Richards gets healthy.
-
Derek Yachison? He is signed and under contract to the Bombers already.
-
Actually the argument is that guns are dangerous but in the absence of guns people will still find a way, using knives and cars. With guns present there is no need to use knives or cars.
-
No. I just sit in a cold, dark room all day and see how many Bomber facts I can recall, and then the next day I try to beat that record.
-
Where is Thomas Miles? He didn't play game 1 either.

It was that old-school kind of scary where it's not really jump scares or a guy with a chainsaw, it's just creepy and disturbs you to your core.

So if we protect Little, Wheeler, Scheifele, Armia, Perreault, Lowry, and Copp, there would have only been one forward available to Vegas who fulfills the minimum requirements (Matthias). Signing Dano gives us 2.
-
Unsigned RFA's can be selected but they don't fulfill the minimum requirements for forwards and defencemen. Teams must expose 2 forwards and one defenceman who are under contract for next year. Position # Criteria Forwards 2 under contract in 2017-18, AND played in 40 or more NHL games last season, OR played in 70 or more NHL games in the last two seasons Defense 1 under contract in 2017-18, AND played in 40 or more NHL games last season, OR played in 70 or more NHL games in the last two seasons Goalies 1 under contract in 2017-18, OR who’s contract is expiring & is an RFA in 2017-18

Chris Greenwood actually arrived last year and spent most of the year on the practice roster. He has some NFL experience (2012 5th round pick). Good size, 6'1" 200 lbs.

The thing about Elliott was that he had a gunslinger mentality with no arm strength or mobility. Not a great combo.

That was Brandon Alexander
