People don't seem to realize just how good Buff is in our own end. He can be a bit of a risk taker at times, I concede that, but almost no one is as good at breaking up the play and getting the puck out of our end. Myers is also quite good. With his reach, if the puck gets anywhere near him he is disrupting the play. He had a ton of points in his rookie year and I think for that reason people have pigeon-holed him as a purely offensive guy when this is not even close to being the case. Conversely I think Hamonic is being overrated on a pretty consistent basis. He's a good defenceman. But he is not in the same class as any of our RHD. "Defensive defenseman" is about as complimentary as saying a guy is a good shot-blocker.

Yeah I saw all the Canadian ones and couldn't detect any major differences. I do like that VGK have gone with a unique colour scheme. People were going to criticize it no matter what so that's okay.

So how do you explain Richards making it through CIS without any injuries? Surely CIS games are more physical than CFL training camps with limited contact.

Punt returns are more about catching the ball, finding holes and utilizing your shiftiness whereas kick returns have much less pressure in terms of catching the ball and a larger focus on straight-ahead speed and following your block. It's a similar but different skillset, some can do both. Fogg got a shot at it last year and was just average while he's great on punt returns. I'd like to see him get another chance at it.

Teams always look like they have depth until the games start and that depth gets exposed. The fans over there think their OL is deep because they have Guy, JSJ, Bladek, and Meredith. Yeah let's see what happens when those guys get into a game...

People think Vegas is just going to go all-in on prospects and accept that they will be terrible in year one..... not gonna happen. There will be some veterans taken. They will try to build a decent top-six forward corps and top-four defence with the expansion draft. That means some veterans will be taken. And Enstrom is one of the top D available in the draft.
