The Most Important Passing Stat - 2nd Down Yardage?
Atomic replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Not true, the people compiling the stats are not the same ones analyzing them -
I hadn't checked that site in at least a couple years. Didn't realize gbill is still out there doing the gbill thing. Bizarre is right!

**** off nerd

Kassian is lovable? What planet do you live on?

I don't think they are, but they're probably close. Get rid of Grilli and Bautista and they would be right in the middle in terms of average age. They also have some good young players. I don't dispute that they need change but I just don't see the need for a total tear-down. Like I said earlier tear-downs are overrated. For every team that you can say did a tear-down to eventually win the World Series I can show you ten teams that didn't have to.

I don't see the Blue Jays currently being in a comparable situation to the one you describe

Also nothing stopping us from cutting Watt after TC and picking up one of these awesome Canadian players that other teams are cutting for some reason -

Why do you hate Spencer Watt so much? I find him electrifying -
He bounced back and forth between ECHL and AHL for 3 years before coming to the Jets organization then he went from ECHL to AHL to starting games with the Jets in his first year with us.
-
Cubs never tore anything meaningful down. They were horrible, then they hired Theo Epstein who made a series of excellent draft picks and signings. There was no tear down involved.
-
Tear-downs are overrated. I don't see the need in baseball for a tear-down. You can build without blowing up your team.

Well, potential plays into it, of course. Richards and Coates are 23 and 25. You probably wouldn't say we should re-sign Jeff Keeping because he has way more starts than Michael Couture. -
Like a white Naomi with no rhythm. They've also played her new promo video on Smackdown, similarly bizarre. I actually had the pleasure of seeing Lana wrestle live at a house show here last year. She was not bad! Not much action for her though as it was a six-woman tag I believe.

Yeah I pretty much agree. I don't really have anything against Jinder, it's just really weird how it's all played out. Seems like it should be Rusev in that spot.
-
Yes I realize all that but my point is that all the guys we're talking about are on TV every night so we can't really differentiate between Joe and Seth right now, for example. Randy Orton vs Jinder Mahal. RIP Backlash. LOL.

I'm still hoping Addison Richards can make good on his potential this year. But if not, Spencer Watt would be a fine option. -
I'm not sure how you can tie ticket sales, views, etc to an individual wrestler when they are all on TV every night. It's one thing to say "John Cena wasn't here and the show did poorly, John Cena was here and the show did great!" but when we see Joe, Roman, Seth, Balor and Wyatt every week I'm not sure you can tie any ratings or ticket sales achievements to them individually. Honestly I felt like Roman has been turning over the last couple weeks. It's hard to tell these days when lots of guys are "tweeners" but Roman has been doing some pretty heel-like stuff. Going overboard against Strowman, coming out to confront Angle and saying he shouldn't have to fight, he is already the #1 contender. I also haven't been following very closely though. I like Bray Wyatt. He is the most unique character on the roster right now and even if some of the sillier **** falls flat, at least they try to do things a little differently with him. The cool entrance definitely helps to keep him hot and he's had so many losses over the last few years that he's still got the "underdog" thing going for him. As far as Lesnar goes... who knows if he is supposed to be a heel or face, he is never on TV. You'd think the champ would make an appearance every now and then.
-
Seth got the biggest pops of anyone last night. Joe is a heel so can't really judge him based on the crowd reaction but the crowd clearly says Seth is still hot, no question. He's probably the biggest star on RAW right now. However if the winner of the 5-way is just being served up to Lesnar as a sacrificial lamb... I'm not sure who should be the winner. I guess Finn Balor.
-
I get that you like Joe but I totally disagree. The guy with the most star appeal in that 5-way is Seth Rollins and it's really not even close.
-
Already being reported that it's a work. I bet he's back for Summerslam

He kinda reminds me of another DE who dropped in the draft.... Elie Ngoyi... was ranked in the top 20 and ended up going to the Esks in the sixth round in 2013. He's ended up being a pretty decent special teamer for 4 years, going on 5 now. Boateng could have a similar trajectory and there's nothing wrong with that for a fifth rounder. -

I think a nice comparison for Boateng and predictor for his future success could potentially be Ettore Lattanzio. -

Are they? I thought Boateng was kinda small for a DE, like 6'0" 235 type deal.
