Mason is still relatively well-regarded throughout the league. I'd be curious to see what kind of deal we could get him here on. It wouldn't be a bargain basement deal though... probably 3+ years at 3m/year.

Acceptable TD:INT ratio in the CFL has changed a lot over the last 10-15 years. Now we're seeing guys with a 4:1 ratio in some cases. Even the middle-of-the-pack starters last year put up 2:1 ratios... Nichols, Durant, Collaros...

That's what I'm thinking, because they had Roman working the injury on RAW didn't they? I didn't watch but that's what I read. Normally they don't work real injuries for obvious reasons. It's too bad, I'd really like to see Strowman vs Lesnar. One of the few matches that I'd actually get excited for with the current weak roster.

I don't particularly want to see Schneider here but there is no question he is better than Mason and Elliott. Raanta and Grubauer are both intriguing options and we could get them for a year or two before offering them a big contract if they earn it. But I have a tough time imagining us going outside the organization and acquiring a young goalie with the intention of keeping him here long term. I see us looking for a veteran to play for one or two years.... I wonder if Ryan Miller could be an option. He's old but we can count on him being pretty good for 30 or so games, I think. I'd rather have him than Elliott or another bum.
