Spoiler alert it's Nolan Patrick
-
I do like that they've chosen someone who is still relatively unknown rather than casting, say, Ashton Kutcher or Channing Tatum.

I saw the post and was confused because I thought it was the Liberals making the motion. So I looked into it and read all the backstory of what had led to the moment described in your post. I concluded that it was all ridiculous (on both sides) and an absolute waste of time so I didn't bother to reply. Creating a new "-phobia" is just the latest trend by people in power to shut down discussion.

I'm a big fan of Woody Harrelson and also Han Solo so I am looking forward to this movie. But I mean, I really, really liked Harrison Ford's Han Solo so this young gentleman has a lot to live up to.

I believe the idea of a talking point is to get people talking.

Sure, let's do the Quran now. Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Such a great leader, truly inspirational -
I can only remember 6 months at a time. Stop living in the past bro

Yeah that's a good question. I think they are going to build Lesnar back up to an unstoppable monster first and that will take some time.... Survivor Series is a good guess. I think they'll want to have it on Strowman before Royal Rumble so that option makes the most sense.

I was reading some Sens fans crying on Twitter over the last couple days and it was nice to see some of the comments about the Jets being super-physical and not a fun team to play against. As we all know, that hasn't been the case for most of the year but I'm happy to see that other teams' fans are coming away with that impression.

Melchiori at least is a stay-at-home, big body type. He's probably not going to try to do too much. Might be a nice fit with Buff, really. -
Missed RAW but I've been high on Strowman ever since they re-branded him and separated him from the Wyatt family. He'll be universal champ soon enough. The entire storyline is being built around him right now. The title will change hands like this over 2017: Owens > Goldberg > Lesnar > Strowman.

Love it. He is the best.

Where in the West would you rank ______ ?

The Esks faced the 7-11 Hamilton Losers in the playoffs while the Bombers faced the 12-6 BC Buonos. Not even close to comparable. -

Moose lineups change basically on a daily basis but I believe he spent a lot of time with Kichton. IMO it would be asking alot of Melchiori to step into the NHL and play on his off-side, and similarly a lot to ask of Morrissey to carry him. -
just came across this When you buy a Hebrew slave, he shall serve six years, and in the seventh he shall go out free, for nothing. If he comes in single, he shall go out single; if he comes in married, then his wife shall go out with him. If his master gives him a wife and she bears him sons or daughters, the wife and her children shall be her master's and he shall go out alone. But if the slave plainly says, 'I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free,' then his master shall bring him to God, and he shall bring him to the door or the doorpost; and his master shall bore his ear through with an awl; and he shall serve him for life. (Ex. 21:2-6)

Last time Drew Tate had any meaningful reps he blamed Dave Dickenson for why he didn't play well. He threw 0 TDs and 2 INTs last year. He's a well-known headcase. I don't see the appeal. Maybe a few years ago, sure. -

Also has started games at both cornerback spots, both halfback spots, and even safety. 10 years in the CFL, he has likely seen it all. -
SMS issues? It's February.. we don't have any SMS issues.

Either that, or grab a gun and start shooting up their workplace or gathering of the people that they alienated. And that's my whole point. Talk about profit all you want, it makes no difference to my argument... the point is the impact on the person who has been publicly shamed. Whether it's their own fault or not is irrelevant... it's about the aftereffects and what our new social media public-shaming culture is giving rise to. If you tell someone he's a bigot enough times, don't be surprised when he embraces it.

I think this is an important point. No one gets through the season on 5 receivers. If we got nice deals on Stafford and Denmark and can afford to keep all our veterans on the roster, we're laughing. I feel really good about Stafford coming in as an injury replacement rather than some nobody. You make a good point about Sholo's replacement being Thomas, but you're ignoring the fact that Okp over Green/Cole is potentially a huge upgrade. I also think that Thomas had more of an impact than Shologan when he got a shot last year but his strength (big motor) could be offset with more reps so we'll see what happens there. I'm counting on a top rookie Canadian DT coming in to be bros with Thomas.

I saw on Twitter that Van Roten is exploring the NFL, Sinkfield too but if that doesn't work he's basically Hamilton-bound. IMO Deane is a borderline guy... RG or 6th OL. Someone will pick him up but I'm guessing he wants $$$$ and there aren't a lot of teams willing to shell out for a guy who will be depth going into training camp. If he's a gambler he will wait. Because the money will come real fast when someone NEEDS him... otherwise he's going to end up making 110-120k and entering camp as a number 6 OL. I don't see any team where he would enter camp as a starter. Huge fan of Shakir Bell right here. Sask should forget about their NI RB pipe dream and sign Bell asap. I'd love to see him in Winnipeg but the chances of that are slim to nil. -
It's a reasonable stance but we already know where they're coming from, don't we? There are lots of conservative havens on the internet that have really gotten out of hand since Trump ran for president, and even moreso since he won. What can be done about it? Most of these places are not encouraging stuff like what Bissonette did. Just sharing conservative views. Some people take it too far but what are you going to do? Censor all conservative sites, nationwide? It's not a realistic approach. I don't see what else law enforcement can do. White-on-nonwhite violence is spiking but is still a small fraction of nonwhite-on-white. What do you mean when you say the president is pussyfooting with white supremacists? Can you give a general (or specific) example of something that white supremacists might do that the president should deal with? And how he would do so? It's disgusting. I don't see that level of hate ever reaching Canada but it's increasing here. Why? Subtle shot but I caught it. Going through hypothetical worst-case-scenarios can help prevent them. Some want to wait for something bad to happen before it's discussed.... never been my style. http://www.cbc.ca/sports/toronto-sports-anchor-fired-over-tweets-1.987992 I'm not anti-gay by any stretch of the imagination, I believe in gay marriage being legal and gay people having the same rights as anyone else. But in this case the man posted about his support for traditional marriage and he lost his job. Now, there are consequences for taking stands like this. People tend to respect those taking a stand for something they agree with, and vilify those who take a stand for something they disagree with. But the overriding truth here is that he was fired for speaking his mind. After 20 years as a sports reporter, Damian Goddard's career ended due to his comments. He never killed anyone as far as I know. But is it such a stretch to imagine someone doing so, when their life as they know it has been ruined?

I see Grant in the same light as Stafford for us. He may or may not make the team at all. Owens will apparently be their returner. Seems crowded but I actually don't mind Jones' approach here. They are going to have a great receiving corps.
