I generally believe you need 10 defencemen in the organization who are capable of playing in the NHL and I think we have that. For as much as people made out last game to be the measuring stick for the Bombers, I think we learn a lot more about them in this game. Can they bounce back from a tough loss? Can they win a huge game at home with big playoff implications? Once again the defence needs to step up and the offence needs to play turnover-free football. Limit Reilly's running ability... big game for the defensive line and linebackers. Looking forward to a barnburner, a real hootenanny.

Fragile seems a little harsh. He has played in 80+% of our games since he got to Winnipeg. I'm very encouraged by what we're seeing out of Morrissey. IMO this is a crucial year for him and he has to be very good. He is going to play top-four minutes all year unless he plays himself out of it.

I think I watched about 60 minutes of World Cup hockey in total throughout the tournament. And most of that was Team North America. I chose Jets preseason and Bengals-Dolphins Thursday Night Football over the World Cup final. It just wasn't a compelling event.

Why would they have to compete with WWE? Are TNA and ROH competing with WWE? I'd say they are complementary rather than real competition. It would be nice to see a promotion that is a step above TNA and ROH but not quite at WWE's level.

I slow down around school zones 24 hours a day ever since 2 foolish kids darted out from between 2 parked cars a couple years ago. If I had been going even 50 kmh they would have been dead or horribly injured. At 35-ish kmh I was able to slam on my brakes and stop just short of plowing them down. Kids are so unpredictable. I guess that's not limited to school zones though.

I like both Tanev and Copp but... locks? Not even close, lots of pre-season time left. I also hate the idea of breaking up Ehlers Scheifele Wheeler... to me that's the money line. Lowry is certainly an interesting situation. He has not developed the way the team wanted, I don't think. He seems a little too comfortable. Are he and Copp competing for the same spot or can they co-exist? Has Copp been good enough that on a two-way deal he takes the spot of Lowry on a one-way? The answers to these questions and more if you send me 5 dollar.

Who in our secondary has an expiring contract and would be seeking a raise? Randle is already paid handsomely. B. Johnson just extended through 2018 last year. Frederick, Roberts, Fogg, and Heath are all on the first year of their contracts and none of them are likely one-year deals. Loffler is in year one, as well.

Can you imagine if it ended up being first overall. CAN YOU IMAGINE?

I like those forward line combos. Connor-Perreault-Burmi is particularly interesting as it could be our third line this year. Eager to see more out of Tanev. He can play his way onto the roster if he keeps up the pace he had in the first pre-season game.

You guys should slow down around schools. It will cost you a minute out of your day, maybe less. Could save a life. Easy risk-reward there. Kids are dumb.

McDuffie hasn't even been returning punts since like week 3 anyways. The depth charts are sometimes kinda meaningless.
