Mothers should be allowed to breastfeed whenever and wherever they please. And no one with the NHL is saying she can't. It is a common practice to allow mothers to bring a baby to certain places without having to pay for a ticket. This is not a right. This is not a law. This is not a rule. This is a common practice, granted by each individual entity, and as such the NHL has the right not to do it. They look like jerks, sure, but nobody's rights are being violated here.

I don't get it really. No one is saying the baby can't come, just that they have to pay for a ticket. So pay for the ticket. This isn't a human rights violation, it's a couple trying to save money.

Ya I don't know why anyone would write them off at this point... No idea what we have in those two guys. In 2012, Bo Levi Mitchell's stats were 12/21 for 168 yards, 2 TD and 2 INT. Even the best need some time on the bench at the beginning of their careers.

True to a point.... 2010-11 the team looked okay but Mack kinda gave up in 2012 and the group of players in camp in 2013 was the worst I've ever seen.

Started some games between 08-09, backed up for a few more, sat out 2010 with an injury and then retired. The 2007 line was Gauthier-Sheridan-Picard-Greene-Goodspeed. That was a good line. Kyle Koch and Matt O'Meara were also around at this time but I'm not sure they ever started any games...

That right guard spot was a revolving door between '06 and '09. Donnelly never could stay healthy.

I think Posey is done for the season. So, really, we have four corners (Randle, Adams, Frederick, Roberts) and three halfbacks (Fogg, Johnson, Heath). I'd rather keep the depth than start shipping players out. I can't imagine we would get that much in return for an import DB, especially if it's an underperforming guy like B Johnson. Maybe you could move Roberts to a desperate team for a 6th round pick or something but again, I'd rather keep the depth if we can. All of them are likely making low salaries outside of Randle and Johnson.

We don't need a superstar QB. Give me a guy who can put up mediocre stats and win games, like Nichols. That way we can justify giving him a low-ball contract and beef up the rest of the team with the savings. I am the walrus.

I guess iso's point is that Glenn was worth a fourth round pick, and Willy worth a first, a third and a starting international... and the Esks basically gave Nichols away, who is arguably a better QB than both those other guys. They did win the Grey Cup but that doesn't do anything for them this year or into the future... a better return on Nichols may have helped and put them in a position where they aren't fighting for the last playoff spot.

Speculation really. We don't know if there were better players on the bench. No point taking out Kuale for a rookie that sucks, for example.

I think MOS takes a lot of unnecessary criticism for this.... yes, we were subjected to too much Romby Bryant, Ejiro Kuale, Greg Peach.... but the difference between now and then is that we actually have good players on the bench waiting to play, whereas that may not have been the case before. It may not be O'Shea who has changed as much as the players available to him have changed.
