  1. Ya I don't know how anyone could really comment positively or negatively on his development to this point.
  2. I had never heard of JetsWhiteout.com before yesterday. I'll have to start following it.
  3. If I had a choice between Durant and Jennings/Lulay, I would take Jennings/Lulay, at this point.
  4. That is one reason among many that arbitration cases take so much time. I don't know what point you think you're arguing but it's one I never made.
  5. Wheeler C, Scheifele A, Perreault A, Byfuglien A
  6. I think part of the problem with Steph is that we rarely see her get beat up. Vince McMahon, Shane McMahon and Triple H take bumps but Steph is a woman so she can't really... She should stick to the Women's division so those women can slap her around a little bit. Vince's authority character worked so well because he was a total ******* and then he would get stunnered. Whereas Steph can be a huge ***** and then she basically just struts off every time.
  7. True but they are also basically mono-cultural and concentrated in a small area. Try achieving the same level of happiness over a massive landscape like Canada with a thousand different cultures. Socialism or otherwise.
  8. Are you new to Winnipeg...? Yes, everyone cares. Can't go wrong with either of those guys though, I believe it will be Wheeler.
  9. Grymes was cut in Philly due to injury but it looks like he might be sticking around
  10. That's the point. I'm saying it's not feasible.
  11. Nice article about Glennie here, if you can read the Freep; http://www.winnipegfreepress.com/sports/hockey/nhl/his-hardest-shot-at-redemption-374572591.html
  12. Post of the year right here
  13. I thought Jericho was going to run in and beat up Triple H and thus letting KO win the title. Shows what I know For me, that was a cool and unexpected ending. I'd like to see a Seth/KO feud and let Roman get back to Rusev, that angle isn't finished IMO. And what becomes of Sami Zayn? He's too good to fall by the wayside now. He should be on Smackdown fighting for one of those titles!
  14. Obviously they would be paid by CFL and CFLPA jointly
  15. Right but if you wanted one available to hear a case within days of it occurring rather than 8 weeks, you would have to be paying them to be part of the CFL's full time staff.
  16. Keep in mind they wouldn't be paying him 410k this year. It would be 410k minus the 70k Willy got up front, minus half the season's worth of salary (340k/2=170k). So they would only be adding 170k on the books for this season. Next season, who knows what they would do? Certainly they're not obligated to keep Willy at 410k.
  17. Igor: Dr. Frankenstein? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Frokensteen. Igor: You're putting me on. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No, it pronounced, 'Frokensteen'. Igor: Do you also say Froaderick? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No... 'Frederick.' Igor: Well, why isn't it 'Froaderick Frokensteen'? Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: It isn't, it's 'Frederick Frokensteen'. Igor: I see. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: You must be Igor. [he pronounces it ee-gor.] Igor: No, it's pronounced 'eye-gor.' Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: But they told me it was 'ee-gor'.. Igor: Well, they were wrong then, weren't they?
  18. If only he had your knowledge to fall back on
  19. Stranger Things is really good
  20. I thought I heard the ratings are doing really well
  21. That's your opinion. And it's wrong. LOGIC LOOP ENGAGE
  22. Unlike other defences, which work without generating any pressure
  23. Ya and quote the next sentence from that site. " This fallacy is committed when the person in question is not a legitimate authority on the subject. " Seriously it was the next sentence, you just had to keep reading.
  24. Appeal to Authority argumentum ad verecundiam (also known as: argument from authority, appeal to false authority, argument from false authority, ipse dixit, testimonials [form of]) Definition: Using an authority as evidence in your argument when the authority is not really an authority on the facts relevant to the argument. As the audience, allowing an irrelevant authority to add credibility to the claim being made. https://www.logicallyfallacious.com/tools/lp/Bo/LogicalFallacies/21/Appeal-to-Authority I would say that Scott Milanovich and other CFL coaches count as authorities on the subject of CFL quarterbacking, therefore this is not the Appeal to Authority fallacy.
  25. So is the CFL supposed to pay an arbitrator 100k+ to sit and do nothing for 95% of the season just so the 1 or 2 suspension appeals can be heard in a timely manner?
