  1. Man you guys are nuts, if the women's division was only Nikki Bella I'd still love it
  2. RAW last night was better than Summerslam lol
  3. Calgarians will actually go out of their way to pay more for stuff. "Hey Bob I got this new TV for 499!!" "Oh Bill you're so quaint. I found the same TV for 599. Do you want to see my last pay stub?"
  4. Yeah I was surprised to see people leaving at that point. Down 7 with time left, that's the best part of a CFL game.
  5. I just want the Bombers to win
  6. To me there are two clear tiers this year. Hamilton, Toronto, Calgary, and Edmonton are the first tier teams and the rest are in the second tier. I honestly don't think there is any big difference between BC, Winnipeg, Saskatchewan, Ottawa and Montreal and any of those teams could beat each other on any given week.
  7. Willie had one catch for 12 yards in the first preseason game and one catch for 13 yards in the second game. FYI.
  8. Well hopefully Marshall can stay healthy. I don't think Thomas is a lock to get on this week, although he probably will.
  9. The finish on Lesnar/Undertaker was very confusing for me. I didn't understand what happened until they showed the replays. Otherwise decent match. Cena/Rollins was good not great. Again, finish was pretty lame. I initially liked that springboard stunner that Cena started using a while back but it seems like he really struggles to nail it. It looks like a tough move to pull off convincingly but it's great when he hits it. Rollins looked great though. I was definitely impressed with the Arrow guy but I had no idea who he was before he appeared on WWE so I didn't care that much. Overall it was pretty underwhelming but I didn't mind seeing the New Day win the Tag titles.. However that ending was also confusing for me because I didn't know who was supposed to be legal in the ring at the time. I'd give it a 7/10 if it was a normal PPV but I was hoping for more out of Summerslam so I give it 5/10.
  10. Wayne Simmonds for Buff straight up....
  11. Because you're a fan and I hate you!!!!!!!! Are you 12? Not til next week
  12. Rider sympathizer....or Rider fan? Hmmm..... Neither. I just find it comical (and pretty hypocritical) that Bomber fans on this site get so bent about how popular the Riders are nationwide and how boisterous their fans are about their allegiances, and feel they have to shout it down and de-cry it as a "myth". Sucks for them to be 0-7 and be so close in every game, certainly given the injury issues they have had, but I don't feel sorry for them. No one would feel sorry for the Bombers in the same situation. But I feel no overt need to throw it in their faces unless a fan fires the first shot directly at me (and to my face, not over a message board). But I find it sillier that people feel the need to be bothered by how supportive the Rider fans are, both at home and on the road, and the fact that the media comments on it, and the massive need to say "that's a lie!", or "it just gets soooo annoying" when the most ardent Bomber fans do EXACTLY the same thing, like it's OK for us to do it, but a crime for another fan base to. The perception of a strong Rider national fan base is not inaccurate - come to any Banjo Bowl and see how well their fans travel. This is just my opinion, but it smacks of sour grapes and a massive inferiority complex, like it takes away from how good Bomber fans are if we don't get the same props, or if another team gets any credit. And it is so predictable around here, when we do well we can revel in their failure, but when we have a struggling team that we can't puff our chests out about, we revert to the "well they suck too" and "they are in your face about it (like we aren't?). Just funny how childish it seems, and to me, this petty attitude and classlessness DOES reflect badly on our fanbase (and I don't expect anyone to adopt that last line of thinking). I am sure I am overreacting to most, but it is a pet peeve of mine. I don't need to tear down other anonymous people to make me feel better about myself - I don't want to give that kind power to others to determine my life happiness, especially fans of a competing sports team. Anyway, just my observation and opinion, no Rider flag waving intended. You've done this same rant enough times for me to conclude you are a Rider fan in disguise. Everyone watch out for this guy.
  13. Oh god kill me now. Why why why. Hope that's false.
  14. He'll be off the PR within a week...
  15. how big is whatshisface, that insane guy who played in BC/TO/MTL and liked to straight up hurt people.......?? He was huge but got the job done.... Khalif Mitchell... Yeah he was definitely 300+. More of the exception than the norm, though. Maybe Bilukidi can play at that weight but I imagine he would trim down if he knew he was going to be in the CFL next year.
  16. Bilukidi is also 325 pounds so good luck playing in a CFL defence right away
  17. Hard to really avoid putting the title on anyone not on the o-line. Removing Bucknor would have a lesser impact in the game than removing Picard or Neufeld. But that's as I said before a function of an attention grabbing spot vs. a spot that you can traditionally hide a weaker player in. Doesn't mean the guy in the hidden spot is better, just that it's less obvious on a play to play basis. I also believe it's a function of the OL struggling as a group where as the secondary outside of Bucknor is pretty ******* good. "Traditionally" maybe you do hide a weaker player at Bucknor's position, but does that put him in the weakest player category by default? I'll concede that Picard is in a more obvious, and more scrutinized position, but his gaffes have been more costly to the team than anything that Bucknor has done. Really? Cause Bucknor getting picked on has lead to a bunch of TD and 2 point converts being given up. The guy was **** last year too but he made a lot of tackles so people mistakenly thought that was good. No it just means teams were picking on him. Clueless
  18. He's 33 but he has still put up 5 sacks in 6 games this year... seems really odd that they want to hold him out of the lineup, with all the other struggles they're having.
  19. Bad move
  20. Uhhh it has been different. He's working out just fine. He's had some bad games but on the whole has been a pretty decent Canadian starter for us. Started 25 straight games now if I'm not mistaken.
  21. Gotta be the OL. Greaves, Neufeld, Picard, just pick one. Chungh has been great considering he is a rare rookie Canadian starter but come on he's had some blowups too. I like Bucknor, I think he does an ok job as a field corner. And an "ok job" is better than what we're getting from the OL.
  22. Surely you don't actually believe that
