  1. What do you know? You were drunk by the end of the first quarter!
  2. And if you don't agree you don't know anything about football.
  3. You wouldn't have to make it a policy. They are already working the food lines at homeless shelters here. What you should do is make it a policy that all NDP-voting dope-smoking welfare sucking able-bodied men over the age of 18 should get off their lazy arses and go work at homeless shelters. I've got two neighbours I would love to see on a food line helping out the homeless, instead of staring at a video-game screen all day in mommy's basement with a bong glued to their face. Don't be ridiculous. There are plenty of dope-smoking able-bodied men that aren't on welfare. of course there are. They just don't happen to live near me I guess. But if you just want to target "right wing curmudgeons" for work on homeless shelter food lines, why not also target lazy sacks who are able-bodied and just sitting at home self-medicating too? I think the more pertinent question is whether being right wing makes you a curmudgeon, or if being a curmudgeon naturally leads to being right wing?
  4. Matt Dunigan is totally unlike the rest of us. He's got far more knowledge into the subject than anyone here...even you. And yet you all discount the doctor he has partnered with for ThinkFirst. Too funny. Believe what you want to believe.

  6. I think Ellerby signed somewhere else didn't he? Perhaps Europe?
  7. I think Postma is a good guy to have around as depth. He is used to playing in the NHL at this point and he can step into a top 4 type of role if one of our guys go down. I'm more comfortable with him on the second PP unit than I would be with say, Chiarot, Stu, Harrison, or Pardy.
  8. This is the kind of day where I will slam a couple double cheeseburgers from McD's in my car on the way home from work, quickly change, and then run out the door to head to the game. I don't mind it to be honest, sucks for those who can't get off work early though.
  9. Bryant Turner meets Rakeem Cato in the backfield
  10. Eskimo d-line looks like it might be the best in the league this year and they will get far on that alone. Nichols will probably lose some games for them... but they can win with him if the rest of the team plays well. Their o-line is seriously questionable right now too.
  11. Ottawa looks like last season
  12. That's a narrow point of view, it's not just about sacks, it's about sacks, hits, and hurries. Not to mention forced holding calls.
  13. Bowman came in with the Riders, not sure who was in charge at the time. Mike Kelly/John Murphy brought him to Winnipeg. Willis started out in Calgary, brought to Winnipeg by Kelly/Murphy. Matthews was a Mack find but he isn't in the league right now which I believe was the question. I don't know why my name changed, the mods must have done it.
  14. I thought Lemieux was done but I could be wrong. Anyways according to reports from development camp he looks like one of our most "ready" prospects.
  15. Johnny Sears Chad Simpson Alex Hall TJ Harris (haha) Jason Vega Moton Hopkins That's all I can come up with.
  16. That may be a helluva epitaph for Willy and O'Shea. "Famous Last Words" type of stuff.
  17. It's always gotta be a black and white issue, eh? Always about the polar extremes... You're the one with the black and white avatar. yes actually. shame on you for calling everyone liars. it pretty crummy of yoy. I didn't call anyone a liar, not even once.
  18. Idiotic, really. "We expect them to bring more pressure but we certainly don't plan on doing anything about it."
  19. OK guys the head cheerleader has spoken so I guess we can put this issue to rest. Those of us concerned about Willy's health are evil, dastardly people out to destroy the Bombers and football in general. Shame on us.
  20. Calgary lost a couple good OL and a couple good receivers. They're not a 15-3 team anymore but they are still at the top of the league. Hard to imagine anything other than a Ticats-Stamps Grey Cup this season.
  21. See that's some scary ****.
  22. I like that they're trying out some different guys on the DL. Kashawn Fraser was pretty good last year when he got a chance.
  23. That's a good point. I wonder about some of these cars that can park themselves or brake when you're getting to close to the person in front of you. This is giving a little too much control to the computer systems and therefore anyone who gains control of the computer systems. TUP posted an interesting theory in the missing Malaysian flight thread that involved a hacker gaining control of the plane through a certain panel that could be exposed in the cabin. Of course, this is the trade-off we all consider. Having computer systems in planes allows us to do a lot of good stuff. It's a security risk but do the benefits outweigh the risk? That's the question we have to keep asking.
  24. These so-called cyber attacks don't serve much of a purpose... and I say so-called because I don't think they are originating from foreign governments. You wouldn't openly hack something just to prove you can do it, because then the vulnerability gets patched. It would be pointless... basically just a giant act of government ****-swinging. I guess you can't rule that out altogether. As for the U.S., wikileaks has released plenty of documents that shows that the U.S. actively engages in cyber espionage. I'd be surprised if the U.S. isn't capable (possibly more capable than anyone on Earth) of large-scale cyber-attacks and their hand has just never been forced.
