  1. I think any reasonable person believes the answer lies somewhere in between your two statements. It's not so black and white. The Conservative battle cry "They must be held responsible!!!" is just as absurd as the Trudeau mantra "We have to understand WHY those terrorists murdered so many people"
  2. TUP I get what you're saying, I really do. But you're talking about how the guy is being portrayed as a hero, well that's not his fault. He shouldn't be punished because the left want to hold him up as some kind of hero. That is playing politics with a person's life.
  3. He was a brainwashed kid. He has shown plenty of remorse. Reportedly racist and sexist? Lol better send half of Canada to Guantanamo. What a ridiculous point to make.
  4. Well I think Levant has some intelligence and common sense (regardless of his political leanings) so yes ofcourse he did. I think intelligence and common sense would dictate that Khadr should have been released.
  5. I've read and watched my fair share of Levant. Let me guess, he opposed letting Khadr out.
  6. Ezra Levant, even-keeled? You must be joking. He is the biggest clown in Canadian media. You've gotta be leaning pretty damn far to the right if you agree with anything he says.
  7. I don't see size being an issue with Petan. He is not going to get any bigger aside from maybe putting on a few pounds. He is small, he's always been small, but that hasn't stopped him yet. He is a really incredible passer and playmaker. If this were NHL 15 he would have a 99 on passing. It is effortless for him. It doesn't matter who you put him on a line with, those players are going to get goals. He would be the kind of guy who maybe doesn't get big even-strength minutes but would be playing on the second power play unit as a rookie. The only reason I would send him down is that he would likely be the first line center for the Moose, playing big minutes every night and getting acquainted with the speed of the pro game. That might be the best place for him next season.
  8. Looks like Chris Ackie, Danny Groulx and Ron Omara are heading to Giants camp as well. Scroll down to the full list. http://www.giants.com/news-and-blogs/article-1/Former-Rutgers-QB-Gary-Nova-among-Giants-rookie-mini-camp-tryouts/908db669-cf36-434d-9179-3fa8899694ba
  9. I think Ehlers and Copp both make it, and that might be it. Outside chance for Petan but I strongly doubt it unless injuries force it to happen. I don't think Morrissey will make it, unless there is a big shake-up on D during the offseason.
  10. My new surprise cut is Jamall Westerman. Just kidding. Or am I? Ha ha!
  11. Saint Mary's with 4 players. Someone there must have given them bad advice on how to beat the tests. Saint Mary's needs to fire that guy.
  12. Mulamba won't be here this year - he's still on his first chance, not his last. Bilukidi on the other hand, he's used up most of his 9 NFL lives. I wouldn't be surprised if he is cut before training camp opens in the NFL. Bilukidi just signed a 2 year deal with the Ravens. Obviously not guaranteed but still. Guys usually don't get cut from the Ravens and fall out of the league. One of the worse teams would pick him up, for sure. He is still a year away at the very least.
  13. I wouldn't count on Bilukidi or Mulumba arriving anytime in the next couple years at least.
  14. Hell we could have drafted Tyler Holmes and waited. Instead we drafted..... Wait for it.... You know what's coming...... Jade Etienne!
  15. Sweet dancing Jesus! Huge addition!
  16. I think we should temper our expectations about Graig Newman... he has never started before in the CFL and he is coming off a major injury. He is far from a sure thing.
  17. Re: my nuts. This is exactly why I don't trust Justin Trudeau.
  18. Well you will never change your mind and I will never change your mind so it's rather moot. But i'd vote for Harper 100 times if I could. Absent the boogyman stories, his government has been good for the country. Even when they do things I dont agree with, such as lowering the GST, it was what he promised to do so he did it. If I told you I was going to kick you in the nuts, then did it, would you appreciate my honesty? When compared to a guy who tells you he is absolutely not going to kick you in the nuts but then does it anyways? Yeah I would appreciate the heads up, I think.
  19. I think it's Bucknor.
  20. Well yea, any surprise cut is going to come along with good reasons why they won't get cut. That's why it's a surprise.
  21. Surprise cuts: Carl Fitzgerald and Don Unamba. Big impacts: WR Tyrone Goard, RB Da'Rel Scott
  22. You guys voted in the NDP? NOW?! Oh man. An economy on the downswing does not need the NDP. Holy ****. Good luck Alberta.
  23. Interesting take on the "purge" story, TUP. You're putting a little bit of spin on that one. Here is some more info on the events being referred to, for anyone interested: http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2015/04/how-baltimore-riots-began-mondawmin-purge
  24. The Stamps lost their left tackle to us in the off season so they are looking for a new one. They still have Edwin Harrison but he has a lot to prove and Huff isn't one to hand starting spots to people. Expect a lot of competition for their left tackle spot.
  25. No, he signed right after the draft, he wasn't a mini camp guy.
