So Jacquie then you agree that if he puts up 6000 then the rule changes are a joke? Because that is what I am arguing against. I'm not going to try to decipher whatever point you're trying to make because my point is that he has put up 5500 before so 6000 is not impossible and it certainly doesn't automatically mean the rules are a joke.
-
He's had over 5,000 yards once but he said 6,000 yards. There hasn't been a QB in the CFL over 6,000 yards since 2004 (AC did it). I was responding to the gentleman who said if Darian puts up anywhere close to 6000 then the new rules are a joke. In my opinion, 5542 yards (Durant 2010 numbers) qualifies as within the realm of "anywhere close to 6000." Durant putting up those numbers again could simply indicate a career year rather than a broken rule set. I'll just say that your idea of "anywhere close" is different than mine. lol ok so if he puts up 5600 the new rules aren't a joke but if he puts up 5900 the new rules are a joke. Got it.

Ok fine. To me there is no difference. Typical Jacquie nitpicking.

The only time the Winnipeg media wants to talk to an assistant is when they don't have access. I bet you wouldn't even need one hand to count the number of interviews with assistants that were done when the media had unfettered access to them. This is all the result of the media talking to Gary Crowton and hearing the opposite of what they were hearing from Tim Burke. I think it was a reasonable reaction by the team, but the ban should be lifted now that we are in the second year of O'Shea's tenure.

Kurt Goodrich leaves Bomber camp & quits football

Talented, yes, no question... Equivalent to a first round pick, well I'm not so sure... That might just be the Jabari Arthur Factor. -
White Cop Shoots Black Man, Charged With Murder

Yeah but you're a nerd. You were probably ratting kids out in high school and feeling pretty self righteous about it. Doesn't mean that's the right way to live. -
Exactly 33 points per game in the 5 wins. Not purely from the offence but consider that that is a quote from an interview and not a guy carefully choosing his words behind a keyboard. I think the general idea is still valid. The offence was better to start the year when Watson and Neufeld were healthy.

No he wouldn't have started this year, but he was considered equivalent to a first round draft pick. By posters here, maybe... Not sure anyone else felt that way. He was coming out of junior, impossible to tell what he would have looked like in a pro setting. -
Didn't he put up 5000+ yards once already? Is it such a stretch to think he could do it again?
-
One big play, especially one like that, is nothing more than a fluke until he can do it again. I don't think there is any reason for DePalma not being signed other than the fact that he really hasn't proven anything yet.

Batman: "I'm going kill you Superman!! This one is for the people of Gotham!" Superman: "Wait a minute. You love the people too? SO DO I!" Batman: "Why are we fighting?!" Superman: "We are the Super Friends!!"
-
Pretty sure this will end with Batman becoming friends with Superman and forming the justice league. Batman vs Superman... Probably a bit of a misnomer

Not sure we have either one right now.PROVE ME WRONG KYLE Uh. Pretty sure kyle has more knowledge in national players in his pinky then mack has in his entre body and would go as far as saying he is on par or ahead of a few of the CFL GMs currently.. He hasn't proven anything yet.

I don't think that is an official depth chart, I think Darrin Bauming made it

Kenny Tate is back... He was in camp with the Bombers last year
-
Ya he had a micro fracture... I'm an amateur doctor and I'm pretty sure that's not an actual medical term.

Kerry Fraser says late Perry goal should not have counted

Oh well, too late now -
We say this every ******* year... Not really, during the Joe Mack reign of error, training camps were dull with few potential stars emerging or even pitch battles between talented players. Aside from 2013, there was always plenty of good American talent in our training camps under Mack. Especially at receiver and defensive back.

For DE's we have Vega, Peach, Thaddeus Gibson, Derrell Johnson, Justin Oxendine, Marvin Booker and also Kashawn Fraser who can play inside or outside.
-
Receivers Tyrone Goard and Toney Clemons. RB Da'rel Scott. OT's David Mims and Zebrie Sanders. DT Nate Collins. LB's Shamari Benton and Tra'Shaun Nixon. Those would be my top guys to keep an eye on.

Ehlers scores OT winner in game seven against Shawinigan
Atomic replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Winnipeg Jets Discussion
Honestly I don't think there is anything for him in the AHL. He is ready for the show, he will be a Jet next year. No rush required.
