  1. Talented, yes, no question... Equivalent to a first round pick, well I'm not so sure... That might just be the Jabari Arthur Factor.
  2. Yeah but you're a nerd. You were probably ratting kids out in high school and feeling pretty self righteous about it. Doesn't mean that's the right way to live.
  3. Exactly 33 points per game in the 5 wins. Not purely from the offence but consider that that is a quote from an interview and not a guy carefully choosing his words behind a keyboard. I think the general idea is still valid. The offence was better to start the year when Watson and Neufeld were healthy.
  4. No he wouldn't have started this year, but he was considered equivalent to a first round draft pick. By posters here, maybe... Not sure anyone else felt that way. He was coming out of junior, impossible to tell what he would have looked like in a pro setting.
  5. Didn't he put up 5000+ yards once already? Is it such a stretch to think he could do it again?
  6. One big play, especially one like that, is nothing more than a fluke until he can do it again. I don't think there is any reason for DePalma not being signed other than the fact that he really hasn't proven anything yet.
  7. Batman: "I'm going kill you Superman!! This one is for the people of Gotham!" Superman: "Wait a minute. You love the people too? SO DO I!" Batman: "Why are we fighting?!" Superman: "We are the Super Friends!!"
  8. Pretty sure this will end with Batman becoming friends with Superman and forming the justice league. Batman vs Superman... Probably a bit of a misnomer
  9. Not sure we have either one right now.PROVE ME WRONG KYLE Uh. Pretty sure kyle has more knowledge in national players in his pinky then mack has in his entre body and would go as far as saying he is on par or ahead of a few of the CFL GMs currently.. He hasn't proven anything yet.
  10. I don't think that is an official depth chart, I think Darrin Bauming made it
  11. Kenny Tate is back... He was in camp with the Bombers last year
  12. Ya he had a micro fracture... I'm an amateur doctor and I'm pretty sure that's not an actual medical term.
  13. I would like the NHL to respond to this. me too but Bettman hasn't posted here in ages
  14. Not sure we have either one right now. PROVE ME WRONG KYLE
  15. We say this every ******* year... Not really, during the Joe Mack reign of error, training camps were dull with few potential stars emerging or even pitch battles between talented players. Aside from 2013, there was always plenty of good American talent in our training camps under Mack. Especially at receiver and defensive back.
  16. For DE's we have Vega, Peach, Thaddeus Gibson, Derrell Johnson, Justin Oxendine, Marvin Booker and also Kashawn Fraser who can play inside or outside.
  17. Receivers Tyrone Goard and Toney Clemons. RB Da'rel Scott. OT's David Mims and Zebrie Sanders. DT Nate Collins. LB's Shamari Benton and Tra'Shaun Nixon. Those would be my top guys to keep an eye on.
  18. Honestly I don't think there is anything for him in the AHL. He is ready for the show, he will be a Jet next year. No rush required.
  19. 15 for Gaydosh? I wouldn't mind that deal. So what if it is only for one year? You could get only two or three years out of a draft pick and who knows if they will ever be a good player. We need more options for Canadian starters and Gaydosh would do that. And there is no guarantee it is only for one year... Maybe he never leaves. Maybe he leaves for a year and comes right back here anyways. I think it would be worth it.
  20. So you don't think Goossen would start over a newly drafted rookie if Neufeld got injured? And I'm not convinced either of those 3 guys start their first season. I'm excited to see Goossen's progression this season so I'm not sure, but I believe that there are a few OL in this draft who are game ready and would really push him to earn his place. And I'm not saying they would give up on Goossen or anything like that, just that he is not necessarily a lock to be the 6th OL.
  21. I agree with JBR that a guy like Waud could start or at least rotate heavily. Demski or Durant would probably start at receiver. Other than that, hard to say. I think a few OL could start too when Neufeld goes down.
  22. Yes I understand it does happen, but not often. Do you have a list of newly drafted rookies who started and made an impact in their first season? I'm pretty sure it's a small list. I'm not talking special teams. My point is we shouldn't bank on any newly drafted rookies starting this year. If it happens, great. But it's not likeky. Not sure why you're getting so fired up about this.
  23. Depends on your definition of rare. There are a couple every year who start and even more who have a significant impact on special teams.
