  1. They did it, they really did it! Great news.
  2. They'll bounce back. Lots of retailers are hurting right now.
  3. I doubt sears makes it 2 years. Sears isn't going anywhere anytime soon. They're still a retail powerhouse and they understand how to keep it sustainable.
  4. Yeah that's weird
  5. Who is interviewing while their team is still in the playoffs? I've heard about lots of interest in such coaches and even interviews the same day as elimination but I don't recall any coaches getting interviews while still in contention. I could be wrong.
  6. Jackson's a good receiver and obviously has the history with Willy but if you asked Willy which free agent receiver he'd like to be throwing balls to next season, I bet you his answer is SJ Green. Real recognize real.
  7. Wouldn't be surprised if Quenneville holds Carcillo out of the game against Winnipeg.
  8. We are merely exploring the possibility of various threads of future realities.
  9. 9th time he's been suspended. Enough is enough already. Give him 1000 lashes and 3 years in a middle Eastern prison. Or ban him from the league. Whatever is more reasonable. Obviously the suspensions aren't working.
  10. lol that seems like a bit of an oversimplification. He's got his team to the wild card round, then the divisional round, then the conference championship in 3 seasons as the starting QB. Immediately following seasons of 0-16 and 2-14 before he arrived. Most teams would kill for that. Of course everyone looks like a dud if you are going to measure them against Tom Brady.
  11. The Pats cheated though, so blame them for the boring game.
  12. BS penalty by a thin-skinned ref. Buff gives him a dirty look and the guy shits his pants. He knocked the puck away from the linesman when he was bent over to pick it up. The ref saw it and called the penalty. lol really??? I missed that. Classic Buff. Great play.

  14. Well said.
  15. BC might be in the market. I don't imagine Montreal is 100% sold on Crompton either, regardless of how well he played last season. But I would guess that Tate isn't going to be moved.
  16. Whether you spread out or sit on it, it's really just a matter of personal preference.
  17. I'd agree that he should have been out further but that stretch of hockey was really ugly for the Jets and Pav was in the middle of a shitstorm so I can't blame him. Good win and good for him to come up tall in the shootout.
  18. Good one. Is it that far off? Sheets was by far the best running back in the CFL.. he was dominant. And Butler was a high end Canadian starter. After seeing 4 different backs put up dominating games in 2014 behind that Oline, I'm inclined to say 2013 wasn't all on Sheets. Is anything in football ever all on one player? He was a game-breaking RB but of course he was helped by having a stellar OL in front of him.
  19. Good one. Is it that far off? Sheets was by far the best running back in the CFL.. he was dominant. And Butler was a high end Canadian starter. Did you forget about Jon Cornish? Are Picard and Heenan not high end Canadian starters? Sheets was better than Cornish, IMO. And by a fair margin. Of course the loss of Picard and Heenan hurts as well. Just saying that losing Sheets and Butler is not that far removed in terms of impact, especially because they have a replacement lined up for Picard which they didn't really have for Butler or Sheets.
  20. 7 games in 11 nights makes it challenging but the schedule still has some very tough sections remaining. For example, 5 games in 8 nights to end the season, vs. Vancouver, @Minnesota, @St.Louis, @Colorado, vs. Calgary. Could be a critical stretch. Not saying they can't handle it, just saying there are still plenty of tough sections on the schedule.
  21. Surprised that Tate would want to stick around, but not surprised the Stamps want to keep him. BLM is young enough that he will get an NFL shot, nice to have a QB you've been developing for half a decade around as a backup plan.
  22. Chiles would definitely be my first choice. I know he has had some NFL interest as well.
  23. Sam Miller is 5'9" 182lbs.5'10" 190. Lots of SAM linebackers have played at a similar size. Not according to his NFL pro day measurements. These small guys exaggerate their height/weight all the time.Doesn't matter. It's a comparison. If you look back at guys who have played SAM, their size is probably exaggerated too. So the comparison still works. Unless you think Sam Miller is the first guy to be incorrectly listed.
