  1. He's not going to.
  2. I have to say the buses have been absolutely fantastic this season. They have really figured it out and it is fast and cheap.
  3. Yeah I think they would rather have him play but at this point he is a valuable player to the Jets this year, not just as a prospect. They will need him when there is inevitably an injury. So they don't want to lose him for the season. The Jets were only carrying 22 players so it would have been an easy move to bring him up at any time since Kulikov got injured. The timing of the move relative to the news out of Europe makes me think there was some truth to it at least. Now that he is back with the Jets I think he is closer to getting in the lineup than Lemieux.
  4. "If only the worst starting QB in the league hadn't got injured, we would have won!" So deluded.
  5. This confirms the report more than refutes it. The Jets are making this move to block him from going to Europe.
  6. Yeah. It's time to get him back in the net.
  7. I like Trouba but hell no I wouldn't do that. Also have zero interest in Nylander.
  8. Can't see it being a suspension but maybe a fine.
  9. Ok over to the NFL until the Bombers game
  10. He's going to the Moose. The Moose have been struggling with filling out the rest of their forward lineup beyond their strong core of 5-6 good prospects. The veteran guys they brought in like Everberg and Tye McGinn haven't been playing well and Ryan White doesn't look much better. Logan Shaw should help fill that role. He isn't a legitimate candidate for a call-up to the Jets.
  11. Let the Niku era begin!! Sounds like it's going to be Morrow-Myers on the third pair tonight but Morrow has been unimpressive so IMO it is only a matter of time before Niku gets in the lineup and once he's in I'm not sure we ever look back.
  12. For a team that struggles to score touchdowns as much as they do, they need a home run hitter more than someone to grind out 5-6 yards. They can't sustain a drive even with Marshall/Mason carrying the ball anyways.
  13. It's a crime how little they have utilized Marcus Thigpen. He scares me every time he touches the ball.
  14. I'm still nervous because you just never know. We can't get cocky now.
  15. Jaw dropper on the night before the game. Wow.
  16. Huge 6-2 win by the Moose tonight. 2 goals for Vesalainen, another multi point night for Appleton with a goal and 2 assists, 38/40 saves for Comrie. Logan Stanley scored a point for the second game in a row, playing big minutes on a pairing with Niku.
  17. Mike Jones is a good player.. he has had some unfortunate drops but overall he might be the most dangerous Canadian receiver in terms of explosiveness. Solid route running, decent deep threat. There are not many Canadian receivers out there like that. Obviously Sinopoli is the gold standard for Canadian receivers but he plays a totally different style of game from Jones.
  18. Definitely.
  19. I had a dream mid season that we would go on a big run and win the Grey Cup. Generally I am very prescient and I have certain supernatural powers that I trust wholeheartedly. So far everything has come true and I have no reason to doubt that destiny will be fulfilled.
  20. 100% a work, maybe the greatest work of all time
  21. I have to agree with that. It might be a tough pill for some to swallow if the Bombers lose in the semi final but O'Shea will be back next season either way.
  22. I'm not so sure we actually see that much of Lankford today. He isn't listed as a starter on the depth chart at least. I would think they would want to get a closer look at Charles Nelson on returns. I guess we'll see.
  23. He's hurt
  24. Berdin playing well again tonight. His style is ridiculous. Like Hasek x10. The Appleton-Suess-Griffith line is lethal. Niku is a healthy scratch for breaking a team rule... no word on what happened.
