In California they have introduced legislation that all new homes must have solar panels on the roof. I don't agree with that strategy (legislation) but I do like that they are pushing solar so hard. It really is the future. Wind is an absolutely terrible source of power. That should be the last option considered, IMO.

I'd like to see our starters on offence until the first quarter is over or they drive the field for a touchdown... whichever comes first. Except for Andrew Harris... I see no reason to give him more than one or two carries, if he plays at all. Same with Demski.. maybe a series or two. We have to be careful with those key Canadian skill players. However I want to see what we've got in these Canadian rookie receivers and Wolitarsky. Simonise, Petermann, Henry, Thera-Plamondon. What can they do? I want some combination of those guys on the field all game. Import receivers - Randle, Thompkins, Whyte, Washington. Who is going to take the limited spots behind the Big 3? Can one of these guys please unseat Lankford? We NEED a big game from one of these guys at least. Hopefully our backup QBs can get them the ball. On defence I'm curious about Kyrie Wilson, Tyneil Cooper, and Marcus Sayles. They've all played well at camp according to reports so let's see what they can do when the lights come on. I want to see a defence that isn't leaking 30-40 yard plays all night. I know it's only pre-season but they've gotta set the tone now. No more big explosion plays. And I hope we get to see Bighill clock someone real good. Then get him off the field.

Absolutely. **** the Riders!

O'Shea said Charles Nelson retired

How do they not? Seemed like a pretty reasonable synopsis.

If you have ever sleepwalked, or know someone who sleepwalks or even talks in their sleep, you know how bizarre that can be. And that's basically what Ambien can do to you. I don't believe that has any part in Roseanne's nonsense but Ambien is definitely a powerful drug with some really crazy side effects.

SOLAR is the future of energy, here and everywhere. We must harness the power of the sun.

Yeah it's total bullshit because Thigpen carried them in the playoffs last year and then tested positive. Pretty clear he was juicing and got a huge advantage from it but they didn't figure it out until after the Riders had been bounced by the Argos. Such a dirty team of ugly cheaters over there. And they're all so stupid and fat too.

Sure, everyone is still a possibility. My list was just who I have noticed playing with the starters in practice by reading tweets, reports, etc.

Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 21m21 minutes ago Brian Walker, back for his second season, is getting his turn today with the first team at the field side corner. As I type, the second 12-on-12 rep, Walker beat deep by Adarius Bowman off the arm of Nichols. #Bombers Darrin Bauming @DarrinBauming 16m16 minutes ago Walker has also been working at the dimeback (strongside linebacker) in camp. #Bombers looking for options there beyond Leggett and Fenner as Fogg struggled there last season. Walker not shy to bang bodies.

Only in BC can the Liberals and Conservatives "split the vote on the right." Sounds like an absolute disaster. No wonder there is so much BS coming out of BC recently.
-
I don't understand. Can you explain what happened?
-
Seems like the logical move. Whether it is Fenner or Leggett at HB we'll have to wait and see. But I'm not counting out our rookies yet. I wouldn't be at all surprised if someone steals a spot.
-
Nope. In the past we've even seen guys take first-team reps all though camp and pre-season, and then get cut.
-
Judging by camp reports, the starting lineup on D (spots with multiple names indicate that the first-team D has seen multiple players in those spots): BCB: Randle BHB: Gaitor S: Loffler FHB: Fogg, Walker, Sayles FCB: Alexander, Cooper WLB: JSK, Wilson MLB: Bighill SLB: Fenner DE: Roh, Okpalaugo DT: Johnson DT: Nevis DE: Jeffcoat

There's always been something a little off about John Murphy. I just couldn't trust a guy who looks like this... for sure he is up to something nefarious:

Excited for a new Fallout, disappointed they didn't give it to Obsidian to develop like Fallout: New Vegas (the best Fallout).

Roseanne is just such an objectionable human being in general. Terrible person and the show always sucked anyways.

It was reported at the time that Wild had taken well under market value to stay in Winnipeg because he didn't want to play anywhere else

Marshall played QB at Auburn in case anyone was wondering if Chris Jones has just totally lost it.

Depends on your interpretation. Because when people talk about taking head hits out of the game... there is only one way to do that. And that is removing contact entirely. Even an 82-game suspension isn't going to prevent head hits... it's still going to happen occasionally.
-
I can understand that. But the NHL is also doing things in line with what you suggest. Head hits are illegal. They could be enforced more rigidly, but they are illegal and we do see suspensions handed out for them. The NHL doesn't manufacture helmets but their partners like Bauer and CCM do, and are constantly innovating and trying to build a better helmet. Mouthguards and visors are now common in the NHL but it's actually the NHLPA who fought to not have them be mandatory. Visors are only mandatory for new players, mouthguards are still optional. I can see why Bettman is denying... he serves the owners. He's not going to say something that is going to cost the league hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars. He is in a tough spot. In my opinion, at some point we all have to say "There's a chance you can get horribly injured, and there's a chance your brain could be negatively affected in a way that you could ruin your quality of life down the line. And it's up to you whether to accept that risk or not. But the game's not going anywhere."
-
I don't understand the intended goal or endgame of all these concussion alarmists. Let's say Bettman acknowledges there is or could be a link between concussions and CTE, etc. Then what?
-
It's a different crowd. It's not like it's all bikers or gangs or anything... it's more of a middle-class hangout but a lot of the guys there are very "Jersey Shore". I don't know how else to describe it. People are just ready to fight and very territorial.
-
Bar I is such a disaster. Everyone in there wants to fight, all the time. Men, women... doesn't matter. Actually the women tend to instigate as much or more than the men. It's rough.
