  1. Or none of this will ever happen. Probably the most likely scenario.
  2. But....
  3. Wow it's going to be a good night
  4. DT is the one spot where there is an abundance of Canadian free agents.
  5. So... maybe not such a big deal.
  6. Kuale? And who else?
  7. I couldn't care less about 3down's rankings but I love how upset the Riderfans will be with this.
  8. If we can bring in Muamba by cutting TO I'm all in favour of it. But I also think we probably got a pretty reasonable deal on Roh. Day 4 of free agency and he isn't exactly a superstar.
  9. You're right I did! Thank you for the kind words
  10. https://www.bluebombers.com/2018/02/15/gm-kyle-walters-free-agency/
  11. So that means top line or Scheifele on the second line with Laine, effectively making it the top line regardless of what you call it. Because there are no other centre options here.
  12. I suspect part of the rationale for bringing in Fenner was protecting against lingering injury issues with Leggett. Maybe he won't be ready for the start of the season and it's not totally uncommon for someone coming back from an achilles injury to have other muscle pulls when they get back on the field at full speed. I think Fenner starts at SAM week one and then we move forward from there. Because it was obvious when Leggett went out last season that "We'll figure out who can play SAM if we need to" isn't a sufficient plan.
  13. I was pretty excited for Wilson last season and thought he had a shot at a LB job out of camp. It didn't materialize but having a year under his belt can only help.
  14. I love Travis Bond but I've read this a few times from various sources and it's not the full story. Bond did not transform our OL. He was very, very good and a large part of the transformation. But it was not done in isolation. Our OL went from Bryant-Hardrick-Goossen-Chungh-Neufeld to Bryant-Bond-Goossen-Chungh-Hardrick, but most importantly, Willy came out and Nichols came in. Nichols gets rid of the ball much faster than Willy.... and I mean it's not even close. We're going from worst QB in the league in terms of release-time to one of the best. This all happened at the same time so it's not fair to pin it all on Bond. He was great... but the OL isn't going to disintegrate without him, just like it didn't disintegrate without him at the end of last season.
  15. Oh the thread title is a pot joke. Ha ha ha. I get it now.
  16. I remember when I got back into wrestling about five years ago, I had to get caught up on the previous fifteen years and Jeff Jarrett being a big star was one of the most baffling things to me. I only remembered him as the country-music-star who would strut around and break his guitar over people's backs.
  17. Whether he fits bb1's contrived definition of superstar or not, it is just plain silly to suggest Laine should be on the top line regardless of how well or poorly he is playing. That's not how you develop a young star, that's how you ruin one.
  18. Baines? He'll make it to camp. If we plan to start 2 Canadian receivers we'll need the depth. Right now it looks like Demski, Coates, Wolitarsky, and Baines will hold those four spots with Henry, Thera-Plamondon, and any draft picks fighting for a spot.
  19. I guess we can build around Laine like Washington has built around Ovechkin, because that has worked out really well for them
  20. True. Baines averaged 123 yards and a TD per game in his last season with the Gee-Gees. He was a legit Canadian college star receiver.
  21. Exactly, so if you want to derail your opponent, just pay some woman to level a false accusation and it's game over.
  22. Baines is Coates 2.0
  23. I think the lack of NHLers has greatly increased the parity and unpredictability of the tournament
  24. Yeah but only after each individual eligible voter has carefully weighed the issues and cast their vote accordingly.
  25. Actually the PCs have told him he is not welcome to run in the next election. I don't want all women silenced but don't you think it's a little crazy that an accusation with no proof can ruin someone's life?
