I wouldnt be surprised if Jones will overpay for Franklin. They have 10 picks in this coming CFL draft. I think he's willing to give up half of those just to get Franklin anyways he can always steal Nat players off others club. Just like what he did last year with BC.

Some might re-sign with their clubs prior to free-agency. It's gonna be slim pickings there so wont be surprise to see Kohlert re-signed since he's familliar with Lapo's system already. But I think we will see 5-internationals as starters in our receiving corps. .

I wonder what this trade do to Walters-Nichols talk. On one hand, Nichols has the leverage to ask for more money since theres no better QB available. On the other hand, there's no other place with better opportunity for him but Winnipeg, so thats a leverage for Walters.
