  2. I believed we carried 6 DL for the most of the games last year. So it might be Westerman, Shologan, Thomas, Corney... Cummings and a DE
  3. I wish we can somehow unload Hurl's big contract... if we're looking for a trade, I can see Riders, RedBlacks & Esks are the ones (maybe) in need of NI LBers... not sure they're willing to take Hurl's tab. We might see a switch of 8th NAT position from CB to S... Wagonner & Loffler on the S... an INT start at field-side CB Bucknor might stay in the 44 or IR Same as Morgan... or cut.
  4. Phillip Hunt released by the Saints. Probably end of the road for him. Unless a club pick him up for a look-see.
  5. i believe castillo is more a than fg kicker than a punter
  6. you need another punter during TC
  7. or could be chris jones hiding players on the retired list?
  8. anybody from the bombers have any thought of retiring? we should trade themto the riders now ?
  9. maybe these players (Price & Campbell) dont want to play for Chris Jones? ?
  10. i hope comes training camp the reports will not as detailed when it comes the schemes/plays they're installing
  11. Would Johnny Adams be a good candidate to the Safety position (if Randle goes back to weakside CB) ?
  12. So if confirmed, the Bombers coaching staff will look like this... O'Shea - HC LaPolice - OC / Receivers Pierce - QB Wylie - OL Cobourne - RB Costello - assistant OL? Hall - DC Howard - DL Young - LB Knox - DB Boudreau - ST
  13. The obvious leaders of this team... On Offense, it's Drew Willy On Defense, it will be Jamaal Westerman for sure.

  15. @draftdiamonds: German Football League RB Christian Rycraw has been invited to #CFL mini camp on Sunday with Winnipeg Blue Bombers http://www.hudl.com/athlete/5040054/highlights/268760381
  16. Or start 5 international secondary.
  17. I guess from this point forward, for every guy the Bombers brings in, there will be one guy in the current roster will get cut.
  18. Got a question.... If we are starting 8 NATs (likely Harris, Goossen, Chungh, Neufeld, Kohlert, Westerman, Shologan & Bucknor)... ... how many should be the import INTLs (DIs)..., 5 or 6?
  19. Btw, current roster count is 75 right now.

  21. Manase Foketi OT West Texas A&M Overview In high school, Foketi lettered for two seasons. In his 2007, after not allowing a single sack, he was named all-league, all-county and all-Southern California. Foketi went to Mt. San Antonio College after his high school days were over. In 2009, he was named a Second Team All-Southern California Football Association offensive lineman. He helped his team earn a combined 15-3 record over Foketi?s two seasons there, including a 13-1 mark and a national championship as a sophomore. Moketi transferred to Kansas State in 2010, and started every game at left tackle for the Wildcats. He helped the Wildcat rushing attack gain 200.0 yards per game, which ranked second in the Big 12, 20th nationally and 11th in school history. Foketi missed most of 2011 with an Achilles heel injury, and took a medical redshirt. He engaged in somewhat a battle with Kansas State after the season, as they denied his transfer request. Eventually, the issue was settled and Moketi ended up at West Texas A&M, where he strong finish to his college career. Analysis Strengths Stout frame with long arms. Good balance, and nice knee bend. Has the agility to move well laterally. Has the strength to control his opponent and ride him out of plays when he gets his hands inside their chest. Aggressive as a run blocker, seeks to knock people over. Weaknesses Limited experience. A bit of a guard/tackle tweener. Feet may not be quick enough to keep him at tackle. Isn't versed in deep pass sets. Maturity is a question after a somewhat hostile exit from Kansas State. NFL Comparison Jermon Bushrod Bottom Line Teams will be split on whether or not Foketi can remain at tackle, but they will be sure to agree on his physical skill set and upside. While his lack of experience will prevent him from going as high as his talent might indicate, he could be a well worthwhile risk late in the draft. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/manase-foketi?id=2540248
