Chris Matthews, Nick Moore, Ryan Smith, Clarence Denmark, Rory Kohlert .. or Manny Arcenaux instead of Moore.

Agree. But with another early exit what's there to talk about except to look in the future and talk about the (1) new coaches, (2) free-agency and (3) next CFL draft.
-
I guess we don't have to worry of any Bomber players trying out for NFL this off-season.
-
I think Owens have regress. I would rather like the Bombers pursue Ryan Smith from the Riders.
-
Wouldn't really care to see Laing here. From what I see though, that's one long list of key free agents. Laing & Bilukidi in the interior DL would be a massive upgrade for the Bombers

Correct...but it also meant We Want Marcel Out (at least to me it did). Or... We Want Mike O'Shea ... back or fired... which ever camp you belong to. -
Matthew Scianitti @TSNScianitti As #Argos close 2015 today, their pending FAs include Ray, Owens, Harris, Keeping, Foley, Laing , Cummings, Okpalaugo, Gabriel & Waters #CFL Those will be a nice additions for the Bombers.
-
I believe they approached Claybrooks too but he opted to stay in Calgary knowing he will be the future defense boss there.
-
Why does that matter? If it works... He takes some of the main concepts he learned from Milo... throws in his own wrinkles... and you have a successful offense... I guess it matters too if he is skilled enough to make the in game adjustments. That I don't know. I'm probably gonna be happy with whoever they hire provided they have CFL experience and understand they need to keep Willy upright not just through blocking schemes but smart play calling. Good point... would also be interested to know if Brady or Milo call the plays... From what I'm seeing in the games, my guess is Millanovich is calling the plays... Brady serves as a pair of eyes on the box. Kinda same situation between Austin and Condell. That's just my guess though.
-
I dont mind Marcus Brady... the only question about him is, is the offense they're running in TO his' or Millanovich's?
-
How about Pat DelMonaco?

Job Vacancy: Special Teams Coordinator
M.O.A.B. replied to Doublezero's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I wouldnt mind Bob Dyce here in the STC job, if he will be interested. I also dont mind O'Shea adding it on his title as long as he hire an assistant STC. -
Milanovich loves Ray, so I don't think it's that simple. They'll try to sign both, but if Harris and his agent stick with trying to be the highest paid QB in League, Harris could be the one let go. Milanovich also seems really high on Logan Kilgore. If that's the case, I woudnt mind Walters goes deep in Harris bidding war. Willy & Harris is a great QB combo to have.
-
Wait, Walters was a running back coach under Lapo. Does that doesn't count as an offensive minded guy?
-
So you've forgotten how good Willy has been for us? And forgotten that Bellefeuille made Calvillo look like a slow release slow read drop back pocket passer too? Drew Willy absolutely can be the franchise guy for this team. Willy has shown incredible toughness at times. But I can think of only one or two games when I thought 'Wow - Drew Willy played great and won that game for us." Mostly he's been unable to muster the O when it counts. His lack of success can't be pinned entirely on Bellefeuille though. While it is time for the Bombers to part ways with Marcel, they should have done so last year. Going forward, I worry about cap space and the QB position and whether we can recruit real competition for the #1 QB job when we are committed to paying Willy $400k. It seems ridiculous that MOS would hamstring the incoming OC by declaring Willy the starter since we don't even know if he'll pass the physical come TC 2016. Oh I get it where you coming from. You want the Bombers to sign Harris or Ray. Barker and Millanovich wont let Harris go. They will let Ray loose and will command a bidding war.
-
Calvillo is under contract and it's waste of time to try him leave the Als organization. He will be the HC there in 2 or 3 yrs time.

Is Wally Buono been an Offensive coach ? Is O'Shea been Wally Buono? I agree that O'Shea is not Buono and that's not the point I'm trying to make. My point is it doesn't require a HC to be a former Offensive coach to have a very good offense. I dont have any history whatsoever, but who are Buono's OC and DC when he started HC'ing? And my point is that MOS may not be the best judge of quarterbacks. But he is already telling the next OC that Willy is the starter. Yikes. So if it's not Willy, who should be the starting QB? Brohm? Davis? Bennett? I am no coach, but I think everyone will agree that the defacto starting QB (because of his experience) will be Willy until those 3 or any new QB that will be brought in will prove it otherwise.

Bad move by the Als imo, but it was expected. Could be just a space filler until Trestman becomes available. -
Give me Bob Dyce.

Is Wally Buono been an Offensive coach? I can't understand what's the bearing of that. That's why you hire an Offensive coach and assistants.

Condell follows Austin wherever he is. Cant see him leaving the Ti-Cats. Actually, Brady kinda the same thing with Millanovich. Condell isn't that young and his chances of getting Austin's job anytime soon are slim. He's definitely worth an inquiry. He was a ST for Wpg. in '97 so he obviously knows and loves the city and all of it's fans. The question is if he has the aspiration to be a HC or is he content to be an OC. If it's the latter, what's the point in leaving his comfort zone in the Ticats OC?
-
@Project_legacy No need to offer Brady the Asst HC title since his contract is up.
-
How about Jonathan HimeBacuch, is viable option for the OC job?
-
I dont think it will be exclusive to the OC only. Hall and whoever the ST coach will be hired has the potential to be the interim HC if O'Shea falters. It's doesnt mean the Bombers (if they're interested) will offer Lapo they OC/Ass HC... will offer the same title to other candidates.
