For all the people yapping about firing OShea please name a veteran CFL coach that will realistically come and pick Winnipeg over any other CFL opportunities and can realistically turn over this franchise? This is a straight and honest question. I wouldnt mind firing OShea if there is someone better will replace him. I really would hope Huff or Trestman would be available but I dont think they will choose Winnipeg over any other CFL opportunity. Huff might choose Sask or BC while Trestman will go back to Montreal.

Or maybe an NFL team come calling ?

Google Trevor Harris and check how many years he's with the Argos before he became a starter for them this year. And if not for Ray injury he's probably still the #2.
-
...and Griffiths will be the 6th OL.

With Glenn, locked up by Als thru 2016... and all teams seems set at the QB position... Walters should have no problem extending Nicholls. No #1 QB position is vacant. EDM - Reilly CGY - Mitchell WPG - Willy BC - Jennings/Lulay SSK - Smith/Durant HAM - Collaros/Mathews TOR - Harris/Ray OTT - Burris MTL - Glenn

If we can only get Demski.

gary lawless ✔ @garylawless So, #als make a splash and declare their bid for crossover berth. Will #bombers and-or #lions respond? Deadline is 3:59 et #cfl

Who else is for sale from the Riders?

You can chalk Als win against the Riders now. Can Glenn win against Ham, Tor & Edm?

Carrying an International P/K is not much of an issue now, since teams have 4 DI positions to use. Per Lawless, a GM said Lirim should be worry of his job since Castillo is a very good punter too. If Lirim can give the Bombers even a 3rd rounder for next CFL draft, I'll take that trade.

Walters might leave on his own to Guelph.Coach Mike Riley might become available in the off-season. Would he be a good GM candidate?Sometimes before posting, you gotta ask yourself... why would he want *to? The guy has money, he has a family, why would he want *to. Coach Mike Riley might become available in the off-season. Would he be a good GM candidate? Sometimes before posting, you gotta ask yourself... why would he want too? The guy has money, he has a family, why would he want too. I don't see why he would want too and it's kind of pointless to mention his name even. I can throw the opposite question to you too. If money is important to you maybe not that much to him. Thing is no one knows Mike Riley than Mike Riley himself. Can you read his mind? What if he will agree to come back (if the opportunity present itself) and like to face the challenge of ending Bombers Grey Cup drought, a team he (and his father) has a rich history with? Btw, he might be on the thin ice at Nebraska. http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/125113/as-problems-mount-judgment-must-wait-on-mike-riley-at-nebraska

I wonder how good Sergio's punting is? Because if he is maybe we can send Lirim to the Argos for a draft pick (or Canadian player) they desperately need one. EDIT:

Bombers add WR Jace Davis & RB Steven Miller to PR

Walters should start looking for a permanent replacement for Washington at DB. It's really ugly seeing him being bullied by bigger receiver over and over. -

If I have to guess RB/KR Steven Miller will be in the lineup sooner rather than later. -
If I recall correctly O'Shea dialed it up for one game last year as well at which time many were convinced he'd turned the corner. Unfortunately that was an illusion and he reverted to the same passive/aggressive Mike we have seen most of this season. In the post-game interview with Bob Irving, Mike said that "play-off mode" could not be sustained over a number of weeks if it wasn't actually true, stating that it was "too much" to ask the players to believe it week after week. I think O'Shea in some ways is too honest with his players and lacks the acting skills necessary to play the heavy motivator to get an elevated performance out of this team. The D seems to be responding to the challenge but the O is still floundering and doesn't seem to have the ability to rise to the next level even if they wanted to. The flaws in O is more to do with Marcel and not with O'Shea though.

I believe it should be 10 days (to clear waiver) after his release so it would be next Sunday. -
CGY (11-4) & EDM (11-4) are battling for the first round bye and WSF homefield advantage. If both keeps their winning ways it would be a tight race to the finish. I believe CGY has the tie-breaker. Same thing in the East for HAM (9-5), TOR (9-5) and OTT (8-6). HAM has all the tie-breakers. Ths is a tight 3-race (WSF home, ESF home, 3rd West/crossover) to the finish. I see no team resting players. The standings on CFL.ca currently has Edmonton in 1st place and Calgary in 2nd. So I think Edmonton has the tie breaker. That's correct. Edmonton won the season series against Calgary this year. Thanks. I stand corrected.

Wpg... @Ott, Ott, Bye, @Tor BC ... @Edm, Ham, @Tor, Cgy Mtl... Ham, @Tor, @Edm, Ssk I think, for the Bombers the magic # of win is 2. Win 2 of 3 remaining games and I think we are in. We are in good position playoff wise and our fate is still in our own hands. BC's next 4 games are tough and let's hope the 1st in the West is not yet settled until the last week of the regular season so Cgy will not take their foot off the gas. Mtl might have a gimme vs. Riders since they are on advance TC mode already but their next 3 remaining games is also though and they require to have more win than whoever is ahead of us or BC. Just win baby. Go Bombers!

Did anyone ever asked that to O'Shea on his weekly show?

Looks like both will be on the 44. Lirim will do punting and kick-offs. Sergio will do the FGs. Sergio will come to the 44 at the expense of Cone. Bastien will start.
