  1. The more Lulay is playing the way he play right now (with reckless abandon) the sooner he will go back to the shelf. Although Cortez want him to run more since right now their passing game is inconsistent and teams (except the Bombers) have figured out to shut out Harris.
  2. Would a trio of Bass, Simmons and Wild as WIL, MAC and SAM respectively workable. I mean I get that the SAM is technically a DB spot but I would think Wild can be a cover guy, he is listed 6.00 208 (not sure if accurate) so I dont think he's too heavy for that position plus he got a good speed and played safety in college. Of course we need another starting Cdn starter to make the ratio. So Bilukidi would be a great help on that regard.
  3. Here's our remaining schedule... CGY @SSK SSK @MTL CGY EDM @BC @OTT OTT @TOR I think we have a chance. Our D needs to improve and force turnovers on opponents. The future is bright especially if get some reinforcements from the NFL cuts. Our ST needs to greatly improved and give short fields to the O consistently. I dont expect the O to put a lot of scores. Just continue progressing and dont turnover the ball.
  4. Stop Harris and BC will lose. Lulay can't really throw as effective as he was before. He can still run though.
  5. Vote Mike Kelly as Offensive Coordinator!
  6. Sask. Roughriders ✔ @sskroughriders #Riders at Home in Search of First Win-- For tomorrow's full depth chart & game notes visit http://ow.ly/RctPs pic.twitter.com/3QyEOSOPBj Im hoping that will still be the case after week 12
  7. That's my worry too. Let's just hope Wild will make the Steelers roster even on PR. Btw, Brian Peters is a long shot to make the Vikings. Im not sure about Jalil Carter. Peters played for Ritchie Hall's D. Carter played for Mike O'shea's ST. Any of those 3 is a welcome addition.
  8. They have John Chick and Alex Hall. If Bowman is to come there, I think Hall will be available. In that case I wouldn't mind Hall (5 sacks) to be here either.
  9. Well that does sound rather definitive doesn't it? Sounds like the carton is getting a bit lumpy or the bacon is a bit shiny. That's probably his response to Higginns. As per Glenn Suitor it was Higgins who said that "every good players has their expiration date".
  10. http://blogs.leaderpost.com/2015/08/20/the-riders-report-thursdays-edition/ @ 6.00 and 189 lbs that's very light for an MLB, I'm changing my Fanstasy and pick Matt Walters right now. Wow... desperate time call for desperate measure.
  11. He deleted the tweet(s). Something fishy going on there.
  12. He's not on the depth chart. Moved to 1-game IR.
  13. John N. Bowman ✔ @7Bowman Can anybody recommend a good moving company? So many. Thanks Retweeted by Herb Zurkowsky Herb Zurkowsky @HerbZurkowsky1 Tried reaching out to @7Bowman today after his interesting tweet. Told me he wasn't doing any interviews. "Just gonna let this play out." Traded?
  14. Agree. The DL need some changes. I would like to see John Bowman here if the Als doesn't need him. Or maybe... trade Hurl and Bucknor for Jabar Westerman.
  15. Bob Irving is the new Captain Obvious. That's probably his response to this... jim bender ✔ @bendersun Psst, the #bombers have actually signed a QB - Tyler Russell. 6-4, 220-pound Mississippi State. But will he see any action this year?
  16. Pretty good O-line. For the most part, Russell has all the time to throw. If I'm the Bombers I bring the tackles if they are available. We need some depth.
  17. It will be sweet to see Simmons sack Mitchell and get a wicked tackle to McDaniel.
  18. I have no doubt that Lewis will be the next man up at RT. But let's not forget that there's a question on his durability also. The man suffered 3 torn ACL injuries and 5 surgeries thruout his career. They need to bring another import OL asap.
  19. this is somewhat familliar... I remember the Kelly situation here? http://www.riderfans.com/forum/showthread.php?131287-An-interesting-comment-Pedersen-made-yesterday-re-the-Allen-Sinclair-dustup
  20. Who said that? If true, that's fantastic. That's what I tweeted to him too. I said to him, go to the Bombers who is technically 3rd in the west and hold the tie-breaker vs BC... instead of 0-7 Riders and who will be on fire sell after this week.
  21. Regardless of whether he (Simmons) starts or not, our D just got a big boost.
  22. We are starting 8 Cdn, we only have to start 7. Just move back Hurl as backup. Can the Bombers re-structure his contract? He gets $120k base salary, plus $1k per start. In that case, just move him back as backup MLB, pretty sure almost half of the 120k is paid already. And what's the 10k he will miss, right?
  23. We are starting 8 Cdn, we only have to start 7. Just move back Hurl as backup. Can the Bombers re-structure his contract? As has been mentioned a lot lately, Hurl has been playing well...getting better every week. I really don't think they're going to move him from that spot. Simmons likely plays ST for now.Maybe rotates in to some D spots... My post is just an answer to the bolded part.
