Kirk Penton @PentonKirk #Alouettes have released K/P Sean Whyte, LB Bryn Roy and WR Dobson Collins. #CFL The Bombers should pickup Whyte in a hurry -
No firing should happen in the middle of the season that rarely works. In Offense, I'm Walters / O'shea I'll hire an offensive consultant who will be a candidate to be the next OC to start the transition and fire MarcelB at the end of the season. The talents are there the protection schemes and the play calling are biggest issue so far. In Defense, I believe the Rithcie Hall is a good coach. we just need an additional talent here and there... like on the DE and the MLB.
-
I thought the Bombers have interest with Peters during the free agency too because of his familiarity with Ritchie Hall's D ... but I could be wrong.
-
I expect Waggonner to have decent amount of snaps on D tomorrow.

Farhan Lalji ✔ @FarhanLaljiTSN Canadian DL missed last season w/ torn ACL RT @jeffzrebiecsun Ravens defensive end Brent Urban has a torn pectoral muscle. 12 week injury. Less competition for Bilukidi
-
I wonder why. Maybe they dont want to leave their cousins?
-
Bombers transactions... DL Kashawn Fraser was added to the Active Roster. WR Addison Richards was moved to the IR (1-game).
-
I think it should be... OUT - JFG (IR) , D.Johnson (PR) IN - Moore, I.Brown. We start 7 Cdns, 8 if Greaves is in for Stanley if the latter is out I think Richards will go to the IR too so someone from IR or PR will go to the 46.

The Competition: Defensive Ends "The Competition” is a series that breaks down every position battle leading up to training camp. Below are the defensive ends: Returning Players Chris Canty (6-foot-7, 332 pounds, 11th season) DeAngelo Tyson (6-2, 315, 4th season) Christo Bilukidi (6-5, 320, 4th season) Kapron Lewis-Moore (6-4, 310, 3rd season) Brent Urban (6-7, 295, 2nd season) Veteran Newcomers Zach Thompson (6-5, 265, 1st season) Rookies Brennen Beyer (6-3, 266, undrafted) Projected Starters Canty is the 11-year veteran leader of the group, entering his third season in Baltimore. The Ravens initially cut him this offseason to save salary-cap room, but then re-signed him just a couple weeks later. Canty made it clear at mandatory minicamp that he expects to retain his starting job in 2015, saying, “I’ve been a starter in this league for a decade. I don’t really see that changing.” While Canty expects to remain in the starting lineup, he will have plenty of competition for playing time from young players like Lewis-Moore and Urban. Key Role Players The Ravens are loaded with young talent on the defensive front, and the coaching staff will look for creative ways to get a good mix of players on the field. After suffering season-ending injuries during training camp last year, Urban and Lewis-Moore are now eager to get on the field for their first NFL action. Tyson has established himself as a reliable defender who can stuff the run and provide some pass rush, and he will likely continue in that role. Bilukidi has imposing size as a run stuffer on early downs, but an ankle injury shortened his season last year. Most Anticipated Battle Urban and Lewis-Moore are the players to watch in training camp. Both of them have high ceilings if they can stay healthy. Lewis-Moore is going into his third season and has yet to play a regular-season snap. He tore his ACL in the final game of his college career and then tore his Achilles in training camp last season. Urban suffered a torn ACL at about the same time. They both returned to full strength for the offseason practices and reminded people why coaches were so excited about them. They will challenge Canty for snaps, and the Ravens will find a way to get them involved if they live up to their expectations. http://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/The-Competition-Defensive-Ends/dc19cbe4-a61a-4d48-8f5c-10d46308de23

If I'm Demski, I'll ask the Riders management to be traded to Winnipeg. Even if the Bombers wouldnt go to the Grey Cup it's still would be a very good to story to finish your rookie year with your hometown team. -

I'm not sure if we have room for Richardson. And I dont think Moore will be out long term. If he will come in cheap though might be worth a look. -

Jace Daniels was injured on last game also. I saw him limping (can remember which foot) and waving to the sidelines asking for substituion but he then goes back to the line and played thru it.

The annual CFL circus is now in Regina. -
There's a way to keep them both if they want to even if Moore comes back. They just need to take out Kearney and let Stoudermire play on ST and D while Veltung plays on ST and O.
-
I believe, Johnny Adams doesn't qualify as rookie in the CFL. He already played in the NFL. Khalil Bass qualifies as a rookie. I think. If being on the NFL PR doesnt count, Justin Veltung might qualify as a rookie too. But I guess the best rookie candidate we have so far is no other than... Sukh 'the Shiekh' Chung

Actually I saw different. I thought BC most times picked up our blitzes well and handled our front four fairly regularly. Imo BC's issue a lot of times was their audible calling thanks to the crowd noise. Not to mention the fact Arsenault was no where to be seen, except at the end of the game where he demonstrated his frustration. I thought two of the picks and overall good defensive play were more of the athleticism and intelligence of our DB's/HB's and linebackers. Sack is good but I like interception better. Sack may or may not result to a change of possession. An interception is an outright change of possession. -
Just win more games and beat them in week 16. No tie breaker needed.
