  1. I think we should stop starting 2 Canadian receivers and start 4 International Moore, Denmark, Adams and Veltung plus 2 big backs with Marshall and Scott will make Willy's job a lot easier. 1 big back is plenty. I don't know why you have taken a dislike to Paris Cotton but he's still a good runningback. Very explosive and very dangerous. When paired with a guy like Marshall you have the potential for a pretty dynamic running game. Since his good game on the first week, he's been regressing. I am a fan of Cotton, but if it doesn't work (now) a change has to be made. Look at the Pat Neufeld change it made a difference to the game last night.

  3. Im starting to dislike Cotton. He was like a newcomer on this offense out there considering he is the starting RB. I would like us to promote Marshall up, move Scott as #2 and sit Cotton for now.
  4. Neufeld looked pretty good from what I saw. He made it through the entire game which is a big win in my opinion. On our 1st drive, he absolutely rag-dolled the guy he was working against 2 plays in a row, it was pretty fun to watch. Agree here. The OL is nastier and very aggresive last night.
  5. Some of the sacks are not OL's fault it's on Willy. At times he hang on the ball too long, Pierce dont need to pass that wisdom to him.
  6. I loaded up on Eskimos in the TSN Fanstasy league so I feel bad for the Riders tomorrow night.
  7. Let's see if they tie the Riders of 1979. Started 0-12. Nope. We play you before we are 12 games into the season. (: Who's your QB by that time? Your 4th? 5th string QB? After the Esks D, you're going up against the Argos, Stamps and RedBlacks before us.
  8. Hajrullaju to the holder (Brohm).
  9. With a torn pec I expect him to be out for the season. Yeah, January missed the entire 2010 season after tearing a pec in a preseason game. Didn't Lobendahn miss time with a torn pec one year too? Possibly but I only remember Lobendahn having problems with his knee. IIRC, I think it's Barrin Simpson who suffered a torn pec then Joe Lobendahn injured his knee the following week that triggered the trade Tom Canada - Zeke Moreno trade and eventually turn in Corey Mace - Zeke Moreno bec of Tom Canada's spleen problem.
  10. Desperation, taman, it's Thursday.. Hard to say which one lol. I'm just curious when we can trade brohm to the riders for their 1st overall.. Realistically, Brohm will not command that high value. But I'm willing to make pitch and see what can we steal from Taman for Brohm.
  11. They should have brought in Troy Smith, at least the guy played/started games in the CFL. Not that it will make any difference.
  12. We could use a Lemon here.
  13. They brought back Keith Price a couple of weeks ago and have him on the PR. Edit: Just noticed the Riders have 12 men on their PR. I thought the limit was 10? Rules like holding, offside, salary caps and roster limits don't apply to the Riders. You forgot the 12 man on the field.

  15. Barker may be licking his chops... he has Ray to trade to the Riders... for their 1st pick (likely 1st overall) and probably a couple of National players.
  16. Rod Pedersen @sportscage Torn pec muscle for Kevin Glenn. Gone to the 6-game IL. Chamblin says another QB will be brought in. I wonder who they will brought in... Troy Smith? Joey Elliott?
  17. Forgive me, your high(blood)ness
  18. Willy's doctor's pet...
  19. Kind of one of those diamond in the rough moments. Either Smith surprises everyone and comes up with a win or we get pounded. Thinking the latter If there's a defensive coordinator who is very good on exploiting a new QB with his D, that is Chris Jones.
  20. For Chamblin's replacement... Riders' O: We want LaPolice ! Rider's D: No! We want Benevides.
  21. CFL News @CFL_News Brett Smith to be Riders Starting QB Friday in Edmonton. Details here: http://bit.ly/1h5xx8N #Riders #CFL #sk via @620ckrm Against the vaunted Esks D? Oh boy. 0-6... Here they come.
  22. Good thing that BC is averaging just 1 sack per game. I hope our OL can keep Willy clean thoughout the game tomorrow. On the other hand, BC OL gave up only 3 sacks so far. Well, they played 2 games against a bad Riders D.
  23. Playing with an "injured" knee, I hope Drew Willy will have the max-protect from his O-line... and (of course) the "luck" to stay out of danger... like these guys:
  24. Very good point. I read recently that the Bombers are projected to finish the season ~$100-200k over the cap. Obviously that'll change with some creativity by Walters, but we're there already. I would like to know where you read that because that number makes zero sense. IIRC, I also read that on a tweet but it was based on the CFL capgeek version which is not really accurate.
