With a torn pec I expect him to be out for the season. Yeah, January missed the entire 2010 season after tearing a pec in a preseason game. Didn't Lobendahn miss time with a torn pec one year too? Possibly but I only remember Lobendahn having problems with his knee. IIRC, I think it's Barrin Simpson who suffered a torn pec then Joe Lobendahn injured his knee the following week that triggered the trade Tom Canada - Zeke Moreno trade and eventually turn in Corey Mace - Zeke Moreno bec of Tom Canada's spleen problem.

Desperation, taman, it's Thursday.. Hard to say which one lol. I'm just curious when we can trade brohm to the riders for their 1st overall.. Realistically, Brohm will not command that high value. But I'm willing to make pitch and see what can we steal from Taman for Brohm.

They should have brought in Troy Smith, at least the guy played/started games in the CFL. Not that it will make any difference.

Good thing that BC is averaging just 1 sack per game. I hope our OL can keep Willy clean thoughout the game tomorrow. On the other hand, BC OL gave up only 3 sacks so far. Well, they played 2 games against a bad Riders D.

Very good point. I read recently that the Bombers are projected to finish the season ~$100-200k over the cap. Obviously that'll change with some creativity by Walters, but we're there already. I would like to know where you read that because that number makes zero sense. IIRC, I also read that on a tweet but it was based on the CFL capgeek version which is not really accurate.

I'm glad he is good to go and will start which give us the better chance to win this game. On the other hand it worries me since the Lion's D will definitely put a target on that right knee. Hoping Nick Moore is good to go too.

Come to think of it, for all the Brohm-haters out there (like me), maybe this should be a perfect time to let him be the starting QB this Thursday to make a case for himself. If he shown good and move the O down the field, then it's good for him and the team. But I doubt he will show anything better than what he has shown so far, and this is I'm hoping what will happen so Marve can take over the game and got a good chance to move up to #2 behind Willy.

Maybe Buck can dress for a game or until Willy is healthy, he should know Marcel's offense, right?

I'm depressed that our running game is losing traction. Cotton is regressing as the season goes on. I think it's time to forget the 'thunder and lightning' combo and maybe use 2 'thunder' combo (bigger backs) of Marshall and Scott instead?
