Bombers sign one more from mini camp - INT OL Corey Lewis
M.O.A.B. replied to Adrenaline_x's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
It's been well known that the Bombers are starting 2 imports at tackle. That's why they are targeting both Bryant and Rogers during the FA intending to start at LT and RT respectively. And even if they draft a guy that can play RT in the CFL, chances are little to none that that guy will play/start at RT right away. -
I wouldn't oppose to pick Mateas at #2. But does that would mean Goossen is not the heir apparent to Picard at C and he's more projected to be on the RG?

With Greaves, Picard, Goossen, Neufeld, Everett an OL pick at #2 or #11 will likely wont play this season unless an injury happen. Bombers can still pick a serviceable vet OL that will come loose after TC. I think they need a Demski (or Durant) who can play (I didn't say start) right away to help with the ratio and depth at WR position.

The Jets are dead. Long LIVE the Bombers!
M.O.A.B. replied to BigBlue's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I love the Bombers and I'm starting to love the Jets. I'm hoping CFL move the start of the regular season 1 month earlier so that our May is NHL playoff and the start of the CFL training camp and there's not much overlapping of Bombers and Jets games. CFL = June - October NHL = October - May Sounds good to me. -
Yes but BC has to be willing to do this deal.. Why would they? They don't want to strengthen a division rival.. Take it or leave it.

I suggest, trade #2 overall for BC's #5 and #14 (or #23) and pick Demski @ #5 if he's still available otherwise pick the best OL available

Bombers add Jordan Reaves to neg list
M.O.A.B. replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
This is a stupid question but I'll fire anyways and everyone is welcome to answer (or rant) Would it be easier for Jordan Greaves to learn the RB position than WR position? for the following reasons... - that's the position he played the last time he played football - with his physicality/athleticism he can be helpful in blocking and/or gaining hard 1-3 yarders. - pigskin will be handed to him most of the time except on occasional short-medium pass instead of long pass if he's on the wideout I know nothing so may be people can give me light on this one. Thanks. -
I actually like the idea of him being rostered as a WR instead of QB.

Well, Jon Wolf looks like he's got the wheels, but Robinson looks pretty mediocre. Agree. Wolf is a big guy too. 6.04 230 lbs.

Kurt Goodrich leaves Bomber camp & quits football
M.O.A.B. replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Friesen loves stories like this where he can use to pen a negative spin against the Bombers. Let's just wait and see what he will find out. -

Wow. Brett Carter gets another chance to be a part of the team. And "Nic Demski at #2" bandwagon will get some new passengers. -

Call it blue-colored-glasses optimism but I have high hopes in our 2 local boys... Goodrich and Reaves (I know he's a project but still).
