If we can only bring one of E.Jackson and Nik Lewis, I would rather have E.Jackson. But if he will come in cheap and Walters can afford to get both I would gladly have Nik Lewis on my team.

Sears will garner interest from all 9 teams. I just hope he either re-sign with Bombers or sign east.

I would love to see Sears back but it's not the end of the world if he chose to go elsewhere. Meanwhile I like the prospect of having Wright on SAM.

Winnipeg GM Kyle Walters was hopeful Friday that he was going to get linebacker Johnny Sears signed to a new deal before Tuesday, but that had changed by Sunday night. Walters said Sears has rejected Winnipeg's latest offer and will be going to free agency. The only other player Walters has been negotiating with is backup quarterback Brian Brohm, but Walters said no deal is imminent. He has a point though. Matthews seems to struggle facing tall DBs like Pat Watkins.

As far as I know, he's still signed with the club and he's not a pending free-agent. Also, didn't heard anything that he's released or pursuing NFL job.
