Agreed. imo someone has to be going out of here. we can't afford to keep everyone. the good ship taman will be under siege for this move. can't say anything bad about Watson but the guy can't stay healthy. Another roll the dice move by the riders this winter. Taman might have given up to the Heenan and Dressler sweepstakes this early.

Right now our Nat receivers are Kohlert, F-Gudino and Bastien. Brett Carter is a pending FA, wonder if Walters will re-sign him. And what's the latest with Goodrich and our draft pick Alli.

Pretty sure it's lower than the $225k that Getzlaf is receiving.

I was hoping they would trade Watson for the rights to Evan Gill. I don't know much about Bastien but getting another high pick on a deep draft pool doesn't hurt either.

Hence the first post in this thread I mean to deflect the notion that Miles is coming here and Missick will go to Rider. Missick is the first choice. Maybe Miles will be a consideration if Bombers didnt get Missick.

No way we sink money into another receiver. We needed to make a big splash last off season to prove to players/agents we would spend money. We tried going after Butler but lost out, Moore was an awesome consolation prize who tragically ended up being injured most of the season. We're going to go hard after Heenan for sure, and probably check the potential of Holmes and Bryant as well. I hope the Bombers will go hard after Ernest Jackson. From an SMS perspective he may give us the most bang for the buck. Jackson will not be cheap Chiles and watt are probably the only deals out there Agree Jackson will not be cheap but I don't think he will get the same $$$ as SJ Green and Dressler will command.
