Walters & co probably were interested but Etch probably declined and said he's not good for his D not like Kuale is.

George Cortez won't be back with Riders in 2015

What makes you think Montreal will replace Dinwiddie? Considering Toronto and Hamilton are set at OC I agree they wouldn't be interested. One, Higgins and Cortez has a working history with the Stamps during the 90's. Two, Higgins inherited Dinwiddie from the previous coach. -

So it looks like... only BC and MTL are the Bombers only competition for Cortez. He may figure out as one HC or OC candidate for BC and OC for MTL as Dinwiddie's replacement. CGY, EDM, OTT are already set at OC. I cant see him being picked up by TOR (as Millanovich OC?), HAM (as Austin's OC?) And of course he's out of SSK. -
in fairness to Lapo, he has to work with what was given to him, an offense with a broken QB, group of 1st years QBs and lesser talent all-around.
-
BC's candidate for replacement as mentioned is some reports... - Paul Lapolice - George Cortez - Dave Dickenson - Jeff Garcia - Orlondo Steinauer - Danny Barrett - Charlie Taafe

Rids how do you assess Quinn Everett performance in his first year playing the RG position? Is there high hopes that he can turn into a legit starter for the Bombers next season?
-
He can then give Burke another shot at HC. And he will probably trade Ray since he says Ray is too old. And of course, Etienne will have hope in returning

"Let the players play", might as well remove the refs and just implement the "No Injury No Penalty" rule just like the "No Blood No Foul" rule in street basketball

wrong shade of blue ?

Let it go, not happening. Let it go, let it go,..

so I guess, Milanovich's stay in Toronto is not set in stone either.

my guess will be... Huff vacate the Stamps HC job and promote Dickenson then they hire Cortez as OC. Dickenson as rookie HC with Cortez and Stubler as veteran coordinators would be a very good starting HC setup for Dickenson. -
How does it measure to Mike Kelly finding Craphonso Thorpe and Lavarus Giles?
-
Wow. With more years to develop he could turn into a very good receiver comes his draft year.
-
I like Jordan Yants. sad to say, his best shot to be in the CFL roster is as a receiver or a fullback. He is 6.01 and on the neighborhood of 220, so he has the size. He can then be an emergency QB and can be used in trick plays and wildcats. I also like Reggert from the Bisons, he's kinda Korlert-ish to me. Nothing fancy but gets whatever throwns to him and get some yardage.
-
I highly doubt there's a CFL landscape where Ernest Jackson is worth 200k In a league where Marcel Desjardins is in charge of a team, never say never. Exactly.
-
Why? Each has his own personal decision. If Dickenson is happy and comfortable to remain being an OC no one can fault him for that. Plus he is successful with it. If Garcia wants a big jump from QB coach to Head Coach no one can fault him for that either. He believe he's ready for that. Will he be successful? That remain to be seen.

I believe LS/WR Rempel was cut by the Riders.
-
hmmm... Is Floyd the real Joe Mack.? I can see the same line of thinking (Etienne-ish) between them.

To be fair, I've heard Kroeker pronounced both ways. And Goossen. He had a really solid playoff run from what I saw, but having his name show up on Montreal's neg list might not even amount to a training camp invitation. Names go on and off those things all the time, from what I understand. I'm no scout but that Nigerian dude on the Bison interior Dline, if we could develop what he showed on some plays, well he had some impressive snaps out there. David Onyemata...With his size and athleticism... if he develops into a real football player he may be playing a little further south than Winnipeg... That's my take too but who knows. If Bilukidi will turn out to be a Bombers next year. It doesn't hurt to wait for a couple of years for them to learn a lot on NFL camps before coming here in the CFL.

I hope the Bombers can get their hand on him when he is eligible to be drafted. Too add, I read an article, that he never played football before when he first joined the Bisons.

CFL News @CFL_News .@EricFrancis talks w/ Jeff #Garcia, who says he's piqued by open coaching gig w/ #BCLions http://www.calgarysun.com/2014/11/24/former-calgary-stampeders-great-jeff-garcia-interested-in-bc-lions-head-coaching-vacancy … #CFL via @SUNSports

I really like him too. I can see him as an O'shea type kind of MLB. Has the size and the speed to be a force on the middle. If he will be available on the middle rounds I will not be opposed to pick him up.

the firing of Benevides could have changed Westerman's mind. Im hoping we can get DonnyO back in Blue & Gold.
