Which Bomber Free Agents will seek greener grass?

I still like Wild on the WIL then find a legit and heavier MLB. -
Starting 3 Canadian receivers next season?
M.O.A.B. replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
And I believe he counts as a territorial exemption for the Bombers correct? Just like Carter, 2 years ago. -
Alexander is still here too. I know, he was put to the suspended list last week. I'm not really sure about him though, i'm not sure if he is just battle lot of injuries this year or his game have regressed and got push down on the depth chart by derek jones. He isn't listed as suspended anymore. As for injuries or Jones keeping him off the field, I would guess both. Some of the times he was on the IR wasn't for injuries. this from cfl. transaction page October 31 Roster ... WPG TRF TO SUSPENDED NIP Donovan ALEXANDER (DB) North Dakota Btw, here's the latest transaction for the Bombers November 2 NON-ACTIVE 2-Nov-14 WPG REM UNS IMP Daivon DUMAS (DB) Northern Arizona WPG REM UNS IMP Jarvis JONES (OL) Oklahoma WPG REM UNS IMP Abraham KROMAH (LB) Duke WPG REM UNS IMP Marty MARKETT (DB) South Carolina WPG REM UNS NIP Ezra MILLINGTON (WR) Ottawa WPG REM UNS NIP Kyle NORRIS (LB) Saint Mary's WPG REM UNS NIP Shea PIERRE (DB) Windsor WPG REM UNS NIP Rene STEPHAN (LB) Harding WPG REM UNS IMP Aaron WOODS (WR) Portland State He was listed on the roster, not the suspended list, when I looked. And the roster list is up to date? The transaction is updated almost daily.

Watson / Kohlert / JFG then Carter, Goodrich may have made the team this season if not for the early injury wishful thinking --- > Alli and Demski -

Did Alexander break a team rule? Those other guys look like guys who were mostly on the PR. I don't think the suspended list is exclusively for law-breakers or problem guys. So why was he singled out and placed on that list? I'm not sure.

Now you've got me all excited and tingly. Probably won't happen, but the alliterative side of me would sure love have Unamba, Muamba and Mulamba all playing in the backfield at the same time. Rod Black's nipples would explode. Aren't Rod Black's nipples always hard? I'll check when I get home. Wow, I never thought Rod Black is living with you.

worse comes to worse and the Bombers failed or chose not to re-sign all of their pending FA (including those on the PR) we are looking to fill up this holes... 1) field CB - Bucknor's been a surprise there, it woudlnt not be hard to replace it with an import but finding a non-import for it will be a challenge although Derek Jones may fit to play there we still need a depth 2) boundary HB - an import spot, I think it's not a big of a challenge to replace this. 3) MLB - we havent had a legit MLB anyways and Wild is more of a WIL, we need to upgrade this spot 4) SAM - Sherman can definitely play this spot although Sears, if healthy is definitely better, I remember we struggle to find a suitable player during Mack's time 5) DE - We haven't had that very good pass-rushers like we enjoyed from previous years (Hunt, Willis, Hall, etc...) we need to upgrade this spot although we have 12 players currently on the roster that listed on the DL (6 DE, 6 DT) 6) LT or RT - this will be a huge challenge, I assume Daniels will fill up either spot 7) weakside WR - i hope we will be able to bring Matthews back 8) NI starter(s) on D - I assume 3 OL and 2 receivers will be the norm on offense that will left 2 NI starter spot on D, Thomas and Sherman might be a solid contributor but we will definitely need an upgrade and depth. as I said, that will be the holes if the Bombers fails to resign the FAs but of course the Bombers should be looking to upgrade every position\

For the first time since 2009 (except maybe 2011) we dont have a gong-show or circus. --- PROGRESS. We are not the laughing stock of the league anymore. --- PROGRESS.

Willy is the #1 coming to next year's TC.... but Marve will definitely give him a strong competition for that spot. From here on Brohm and Portish is out of the conversation since we dont know what are their plans and the Bombers plan for them.
-
for me.... MUST SIGN: CB Matt Bucknor - good surprise for us this year plus an NI starter DT Zach Anderson LB Johnny Sears LB Ian Wild DB Demond Washington - I'm expecting him to test freeagency though OL Glenn January or OL Devin Tyler - plan B as TBurg said, Tyler is a cheaper though DONT CARE: QB Brian Brohm - can bring to TC to compete with Marve, loser goes home QB Josh Portis - not sure of him but if we have a better neg lister coming in then he goes DB Desia Dunn - I liked his play in SAM 2yrs ago not so much in WIL, If Sears resigns he can go RB Carl Volny - not very productive, but I question our past OCs how is he being used, we can do better though NEED TO GO: WR Aaron Kelly - not that good WR Romby Bryant - washed out LB Rene Stephan - injury prone OL Gord Hinse - we can do better LB Mike Cornell - we can do better
-
I'm hoping to see Marve starts. Well, just give Willy the 1st half, 2nd half for Marve and Portish the short yardage and the last 2-3 O series in the 4th.

Wow. That'll do it everytime when you only look to your first read. I wonder why he stopped progressing to the other reads? He's probably affected by the 2 INT

M.O.A.B. replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
2-3 yrs down the road after their rookie contract is done, the OLs we picked up will just go to free agency and chose to play close to home. I'll say spend the 2nd overall to Demski and pick an OL on the succeeding round. -
we may see a lot of roster moves this week and i wouldnt be surprised if we see the like of gibson given a chance to play this. this will be our last game of the season, i dont know how it works now that we have a bye on the last regular week but in previous years we on the active or on ir players we intend to keep/invited for next year. iirc, players who finish the season on the pr are automatically freeagents.

So by my count, We still have all of our 7 picks plus a 4th rounder from Riders on Alex Hall trade Although we have pending conditional trades with - Ticats for Brian Brohm - Argos for Josh Portish I say pick Demski 2nd overall then pick OLs on the following 2 rounds. Danny Groulx, Alex Mateas, Jacoby Ruby, Sukh Chung may not be available after 1st round Dillon Guy, Sean McEwen, Karl Lavoie may be avaialble on the second. -

M.O.A.B. replied to IC Khari's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'm a Demski fan and now hoping Walters will make him our first pick. I was a fan of Coombs and Gill. Hmmm... Can we trade Watson to Ticats for Gill rights? I'm such a homer. -
I'll watch how Grigsby will fit on his new team's system. I do wish him well and hope they will keep him up to the Bombers first meeting with the Ticats next season.

I would bet that almost every running back in the league is somewhat banged up at this point, and the Stamps have first place pretty much sewn up, so why not give Cornish some downtime to heal? He only need half of a game against the Bombers to get a production that is 2 games worth for other CFL teams RBs.
