Kromah likely to make Bomber debut Friday
M.O.A.B. replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Nice to point that out. Re Kromah, the issue is how will he bounced back from the injury. If he will regain his old form prior to injury it will be good for the Bombers. -
Grigsby shown he has the skill to be a RB/WR type guy so he's safe in my books, at least to be that 2nd RB. If Cotton doesn't cut it, no need to waste time. Give others the chance. Or If I'm Walters I'll make a trade for Tim Brown who's buried on the Lions depth chart.

I'll go out of the box and say set 3 divisions: - West: BC, CGY, EDM - East: TOR, MTL, HAM - Central: WPG, SSK and Ottawa (since they are newest team ) - Bombers vs 2 RoughRiders team Or scrap the East/West/Central and just let the team draw a lot on which division / bracket they will fall. Each team plays: - divisions rivals 3x = 6games - non-division rivals 2x = 12 games After regular season: - top team on each division wins the division title - top 6, regardless of division, advance to the playoffs Playoffs scenario: #1 & #2 gets the bye #3 vs #6 winner meets #1 #4 vs #5 winner meets #2 final 2 meets in the GC

I also heard from the TSN 1290 report that the Bombers will make a switch on the RB. Said, Cotton will start ahead of Grigsby. I guess this is the day Cotton has been waiting for. An opportunity to steal this starting job by very good performance. A fail could probably mean bye-bye for him ( to give opportunity to the other backs) since I dont see Grigsby going anywhere.

well deserve chance. hoola hoola playa.

Kromah likely to make Bomber debut Friday
M.O.A.B. replied to Mr. Perfect's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
I'll be all for that. Hope it will be the step to the direction where we slide Wild to WIL and replace Dunn. Kuale once healthy goes back as the backup MLB. -
He's just released by the Colts. Is there an agreement between him and the Bombers thats when they released him so he can sign with the Colts?
-
Is this said tongue in cheek? I certainly hope Etch will use him at end and not slide him inside because he's too heavy for "his style" of end. If we get bilukidi and Mulumba our defensive line will get a huge boost We get these guys and we're pretty much guaranteed a playoff spot. No guarantees. This Bombers team can make the playoff if they figured out their run D and their run game. Our passing attack can put up scores on the board while our passing defense are effective thus far. Having those 2 DL here will certainly boost our Canadian content and our DL. Mulumba > Richardson Bilukidi > Cornell and it will enable us to use a DI somewhere else.
-
Another source of talent ? will the Chinese players count as National or International ?
-
Sure exciting to hear some news like this. And some us can't help to be happy at the expense of these guys not making their NFL dreams which is understandable given our lack of Canadian depth. Still Mulumba will get a sniff from other NFL clubs if he dont make it on GB. But to dream is free... so really nice to dream seeing Mulumba, Bilukidi and Muamba in blue&gold.

Cotton replacing Woods tonight on returns
M.O.A.B. replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
He didn't get cut. He was being placed on the Practice Roster but chose to go the Bombers 46 man roster instead. Tough to blame him but in retrospect Stoudemire should have been on the 46 with Marshay Green on the PR. He was picked up (on June 28) and put/hidden on the IR. He was moved to the 46 a month later (July 30). I guess if the Rider wants to keep him they should have do the same. -
At some point, O'shea need to lash out on guys taking stupid penalties. I know he's a player's coach but if he needs to rip on a particular guy or group he need to let it out and show these guys his displeasure.
-
Can Woods be converted to an RB? For a small guy he definitely have the strength to rumble against LBs (remember his hit on Bighill last year) . Plus, he has good ball security so fumble will not be an issue.
-
I'm a one of the biggest Woods supporter but I agree that Stoudermire is better. No fumbles, have some elusiveness and seems like legitimate threat on big returns. Not bad for a debut... ... 273 combined yardage (stands top 10 for now after this game) ... kick returns - 154yds - 25.7 yds average ... punt returns - 119yds - 39.7 yds average What's not too like. With all due respect to Woods, Stodermire is big upgrade there. NI hope these are next to the list... ... RT - agree that Howard needs to sit (or go), Jones deserve a chance to prove himself. Either on RT or LT (move January on RT). ... RB - I'm out off the Grigsby/Cotton camp, they are not getting the job done. ... Run D - definitely needs a help there. Is it a big of a change moving back Wild on WIL/Dollar and let Kromah or Kuale starts on MAC and Sears or Dunn on SAM/Dime? ... Pass Rush - we're not getting to the QB, we can't let the QB sit comfortable on the pocket.

Cotton replacing Woods tonight on returns
M.O.A.B. replied to gbill2004's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Maybe a trade was made involving him? For a running back perhaps? Let's see who's RB is not playing tonight for TOR. just a wild, wild guess. -

sad to see woods out. although we know what we can get from him. maybe it's a good time to see what others can do as well knowing if everything doesnt work out well we can always go back to woods. im ok with cotton back there, his fumble the last time around was not his fault, washington bump into him that cause the ball to fumble. so keep away washington from that position and the returner... please. interested to see stoudermire back there also. -
How long before they start calling... Elliott, Goltz, Hall and Boltus ?
-
It's because Brink is actually a Dinwiddie clone.
-
we have a game against the Als prior to the LDC game though. so 1 game more to solve our running game woes.
-
Can't be Hinse and Carter... we need 21 in the roster. there are 22 Nationals and 21 International on the depth chart.
-
1 National to the 46... Hinse or Carter? we haven't carry 7 OLs since so I guess HInse will be on the 46. 1 International to the 46... Unamba, Stoudermire, Cotton, Woods or Bryant? im hoping my wish (3 national rec starters) will be granted.
-
m figuring out how they will fit in stoudermire with cotton and woods still on the lineup. one of way to do it it is by starting 3 N rec watson, feoli-gudino and kohlert with carter as backup. bryant will move to 46. i think i want to see this, i don't think there's a drop off between watson (if he can stay the whole game) and bryant that makes 9 starting canadians... with 3 OLs (greaves, morley and neufeld) and 3 on D (thomas, bucknor and jones) cotton and grigsby and woods will still be in the lineup. backup I on D are anderson, kuale, unamba and stoudermire.
