  1. QB... WILLY, Brohm, Marve OL... JANUARY, GREAVES, MORLEY, NEUFELD, KNAPP, Goossen REC.. KELLY, MOORE, WATSON, DENMARK, KOHLERT, Feoli-Gudino, Carter, Woods RB... GRIGSBY, Volny, Pontbriand, Fitzgerald DL... VEGA, TURNER, THOMAS, PEACH, Anderson, Richardson LB... BANKS, KUALE, DUNN, Sherman, Wild, Stephan, Cornell DB... RANDLE, WASHINGTON, LEGGETT, SUBER, ALEXANDER, Markett, Bucknor, Jones ST... Hajrullahu, Renaud I can also see us field Everettt as Backup OL/DL in place of an Nat'l LB or CB. Bucknor can also start ahead of Alexander. Knapp can be RG and Neufeld at RT. Not a bad line-up actually, and only 2 - Willy and Leggett - rookie starter in the mix. The soft spot I can see is the LB and RB units.
  2. I literally don't think you could handpick a more mediocre group. How is Miles doing with Ottawa? Should we be interested to get him back if he is cut loose?
  3. Most experienced yes. But maybe the coaching staff doesn't give too much weight on his experience as a 1-8 starting QB.
  4. I actually think Saskatchewan has way more question marks than BC. They lost a huge chunk of their offence in Sheets and Dressler, and I'm not exactly sold on a guy like Taj Smith to be the go-to guy for Durant. BC won games with Thomas Demarco, I think they can win some with Kevin Glenn. Calgary 13-5 BC 12-6 Sask 10-8 Edm 5-13 Wpg 5-13 (hoping Edmonton wins the tiebreaker) Toronto 13-5 Hamilton 11-7 Montreal 8-10 Ottawa 4-14 JBR got the correct no of games win/loss.
  5. Same here. Wrong no of games Win/Loss.
  6. Your West games is not balanced. West total wins/loss should be 45-45. East is 36-36. You're not perfect Mr. Perfect.
  7. Well, I am not talking about our players that came into the league via a different team... not talking about the free-agent CFL vets (Nat'l or Int'l) we signed... and certainly not about the Nat'l players we drafted.... I am talking about the Int'l players scouted and recruited by the current scouting department. With all the bravado that we hear and read from the media (like the one we read from FreeP this morning)... showing up this kind of list is surely underwhelming.
  8. I kinda agree with Mike. After the 3-days of mini-camp and 18 gruelling days of training camps and probably several tryouts... this is all the Bombers produced so far? Offense: OL Howard RB Cotton * RB Grigsby RB Bolton WR Kemp Defense: DL Fraser DB Leggett * DB B.Johnson DB Unamba DB Dumas It's underwhelming indeed.
  9. Maybe we are reserving a spot or two for guys we can pickup from other teams cuts.
  10. You only need 1 Nat'l backup OL on gameday roster. If an injury happens, just go back to 2-3 Int'l/Nat'l OL the next game.
  11. he dropped a ton of passes in game 1, receivers who can't catch tend not to be worth much. I am a bit disappointed in cutting Hall now, I think that was a move that could have waited until you make damned sure you're other backups are for real but whatever I know why they did it... I just don't have to like it. Guy makes one mistake compared to the other and he's out that's a risky way of running your team. I don't mind it. Allows the young guys to rise to the occasion and get more reps in practice. Shows confidence the brass has in our young quarterbacks. Retaining Hall and losing either Brohm or Marve in the process is not good. Plus how do you keep Hall if he's not #2?
  12. Not Bombers related... did anyone one knows what's the deal with Lefevour in Hammy? Looks like he didnt play their last pre-season game. Is he on the bubble?
  13. Urrutia owns a IFL? UFL team. So he surely wont settle for $500/wk.
  14. I liked his response to whoever the clown was that kept persisting on the "what keeps you up at night?" question. That guy was pretty douchey. That's Wiecek
  15. He could still end up on the PR or maybe he has attitude problem who knows.
  16. Dont lose hope. He could still end up on the PR.
  17. I guess the current regime put much weight on the veteran experience and doesn't want to rush rookies to starting position. I'm looking at the current roster and it looks like we could expect only 2-3 rookie starters for game 1... the rest are CFL vets.
  18. based on the injury list from yesterday... plus the guys who reportedly back yesterday but might need time to recover fully I'm expecting these guys to go on IR... 1-game: Cotton, Ford, Jones, Kemp, Markett, Suber, Eisho, Stevenson... Swiston, Alexander, Briggs, West and Sears 6-game: Lucas, Newman that left... Howard, Bolton, Dumas, Fraser and Browning. maybe they gonna release more (deadline is tonight) in able to put them to the PR.
  19. Agreed, aside from Paris Cotton is there any other real good import we brought in? The fact we couldn't find anyone better than a guy like Kuale bothers me. I'd say Leggett and Bruce Johnson. But that's not a good haul, considering they went through what? 50 imports? As someone mention before... these guys need to fit a system especially on the defensive side of the field. Maybe it's hard to find players for Etch's system ?
  20. Is it because they haven't found someone to supplant Kelly ?
  21. No surprise cut.
  22. Urrutia have a strong start but got unnoticed as of late
  23. Who among our our draftees has eligibility left?
