Cedric Gagné-Marcoux is a free-agent and I believe he hasn't retired yet. A vet OL, played C, and played under Bellefuille. Maybe Walters can sign him.

That's a good way to bid against yourself and cripple your cap flexibility. You want to invest roughly 7% of your entire salary cap into two receivers, one of which didn't even rack up 200 yards last year? i'll shed Edwards salary for Matthews. But why would you pay that much if you don't have to? That's what I'm saying. There's no way anyone is going to make Matthews an offer anywhere near 180k annually, why would you even approach him with that ridiculous of an offer? Lavertu... the only problem is, Ottawa might shy away from Tardif given his performance in the Shrine game and pickup Lavertu instead. They actually dont have depth on their C, since Hage might be retiring after a year or two. Goosen... is not a bad consolation prize, to think he bump a lot of guys on the standings seems this guy is also a good prospect. My pick is Lavertu but Goosen wont be bad.
