Maybe learning from the Carr FA debacle. the Carr debacle wasn't on management that was on Carr. They had agreed to a deal, but Carr is the one that backed out and didn't give the Bombers a chance to match. agree it's Carr/agent fault, they didn't give Mack & co to match the offer. that's why Walters said they will match as long as Henoc/agent will give them the chance. How'd that whole scenario work out for Carr? Edmonton, Saskatchewan, Calgary... and now hanging out with all of you, me and Terrence Jeffers-Harris on the sidelines. cant blame Carr to get the extra money. i understand that he has to support his family and his ill father (or mother not sure) at that time. the only fault he made (or his agent) they didn't notify the bombers so they could counter-offer.

well, they were not in the sweepstakes from the beginning. they got BLM who is better than Collaros and 2 vet backups in Tate and McPherson.

Gonna be tough to pull that off without a second round pick. We pick at 2 and then not again until 20. I know. I'd try and pretend that I think Coombs will tumble as a running back but I really don't think he will. He's a special talent. hopefully Walters can get a 2nd rounder (or a late 1st rounder) in trade

Or sit tight to become a midseason injury / desperation signing guy like Michael Bishop. The QB supply in the CFL is still thin enough that it's unthinkable that someone with Burris' pedigree will be sidelined for long, even if he doesn't go to training camp. Say Edmonton loses Riley or BC loses Lulay for the season, I bet you'd see an unemployed Hank get employed quick. sit and he wont collect a paycheck. injuries will come but when? sign for backup role and collect a paycheck every week.

if we get collaros and every team are set on their starting to qb, burris has no option but to get a backup role. say if collaros or stating qb got hurt midway, it would be good to have a burris as an insurance

for arguments sake... the only decent NI receiver they had is Deslaurier Deslauriers, Eric 2013 MTL 21 316 15 57 0 after him who they got? Ismael Bamba and Kyle Graves who both have 0 catches in 2013 oh yeah, their NI receiving core is deeper than us.

He was never been a DC in his long career but got total of 4 years of experience as DL coach. Though his experience alone and familiarity with the CFL rules will be a great asset to us. I think I would be on this bandwagon if its wheels actually hit the road.

D-line is okay but losing Hall stings (not that it could be helped). Ratio isn't great either. there were people worried when o'dell willis signed with riders then the bombers found alex hall that's the one position i'm less worried about. who knows, maybe mcadoo or griggs would become the next good de for us.

he wasn't able to crack the starting lineup even with the weak lineup we have. we never signed him when he became fa last year. he then signed by riders to their pr and released ( i think )
