  1. I believe it's on Arbuckle. He doesn't want to re-sign with Ottawa. That's why the RedBlacks was forced to cut him and pickup Nichols on the process. If Nichols is still being bothered by that shoulder injury, that's really sad. And how can he effectively throw that 6-8 yarders. So sorry for Lapo too, he may end having no QB again, in his second gig as a head coach.
  2. I'm probably stating the obvious here, but there is no rookie mini-camp this year unlike the previous years. If I recall it correctly, those rookie mini-camps are pre-dominantly WRs and DBs and a handful of players in other positions and only a handful of those rookies really make it to the main camp.
  3. Thought that was Blake Jackson. He got surgery and was sent home already.
  4. Regarding receivers, let's do the math. I would assume the starters for Week1 will be: Lawler, Bailey, Demski, Wolitarsky and Stewart. For backups: Nelson as DI and 1 of Tyrell/O'leary-Orange for Canadian. I could see Borsa here too as Demski-type guy. I'm assuming Adams and Meredith will be on IR in Week1. So between the taxi-squad and PR you put maybe 3 or 4 guys: Just guessing maybe Agudosi, McKnight for Americans and the other of Tyrell/O'leary-Orange for Canadian. So that leaves you only 2 or 3 receivers to cut: Crockett, Grayson and Alexander. Yeah, we brought too many receivers.
  5. In a regular year, CFL teams only have 10-man practice roster to fill. This year, they will have a 5-man taxi squad and 13-man practice roster to fill out. Because in any case one or two player tested positive of COVID (knock on wood), they will have players that are ready to go.
  6. Because the logic is dumb too. Suggesting that the Bombers are not happy with their receiving corps because they don't have a 1000-yd receiver in 2019 is dumb. Forgetting the fact that it's partly by design and play-calling by Lapo. Our offensive plays in 2019 are RUN heavy because why not, we have a dual threat in the backfield with Harris and Streveller, our OL dominate on the run plays and that's our best chance to win. I agree that they bring in competition to upgrade, not only the receiver position. If the new ones beat the incumbents that's an upgrade. Bombers do that every year. Every team does that every year. But to say they bring in competition because they are not happy with the current ones, that's dumb.
  7. So if the Bombers starts say Stewart or Agudosi in place of Adams in Week1, does that mean they are not happy with Adams? Or say Adams is healthy for Week1 and we have are incumbents starts in Week1 and no newcomer/rookie in gameday roster, does that mean they are not happy with the new receivers?
  8. Now I am worried. TBurg might bring in 20+ new posters here in MBB because he is not happy with many of us.
  9. Team are always looking for upgrade regardless of position, that's what TC are all about. That's a fact. Telling they are not "happy" with their receiver group is different from the above. That's BS.
  10. It's just TBurg bending everything to fit to his argument.

  12. Als has Cunninghan, Bray, Lewis and Wieneke. That's a good set of receivers (skill-wise). Probably they're making room for younger guys.

  15. FWIW, the last 2 Grey Cup winners doesn't have a 1000-yd receiver.
  16. WR Naaman Roosevelt released by the Als.
  17. I was looking forward to the crowd singing “we will we will Bockru” on his first TD, but yeah so much for that. 😂😂😂
  18. WR Macho Bockru was released per CFL.ca transactions page.
  19. after Briggs and Gauthier, we only have rookies Cadwallader and Lowes (who is currently not practicing). this pickup is for ST for sure and 13 ST tackles is music in O’Shea’s ears.
  20. DB Christian Angulo is released
  21. Just for reference. Nichols passing stat. Lapo rejoined the Bombers in 2016. For the record, I'm not a pro/anti-Nichols and pro/anti-Lapo.
