  1. If Meredith is practicing I'll agree to that but it's already 10 days since he last practiced. "Can't make the club from the tub", so they say.
  2. Seriously, that's the first Bomber's game I watched on TV, and the very reason why I became a fan of the Bombers and Milt. Don't know the Bombers players names yet and the all about the CFL game then.
  3. Was expected to be a "Thorpedo" because of his speed, turned out to be "Crap" instead.
  4. WR Rodney Smith was released by the Elks yesterday. Unless, he has injury or attitude issues, he can be a good pickup as backup vet receiver. In 2019, he has 600+ receiving yards and 5 TDs. A big dude too @ 6.5 235lbs.
  5. I wonder why the Riders', Argos' and Als' roster cuts are not listed or published.
  6. Antigha is what I'm thinking too. He has the physicality and speed to man the SAM and would minimize changes in the backend. Alexander in safety spot is the best option we have there. Johnson/Darby/Alexander/Taylor/Jones is not a bad secondary.
  7. And as per accounts, with that rag-tag OL, Fajardo is shredding their D on practice. So you've got to think what kind of D they'll have.
  8. Josh Johnson - 5yr CFLer Not exactly vet but... Jhavonte Dean - was on 2019 Rider's PR Rhantony Texada - was on 2019 RedBlack's PR
  9. A veteran. In 2019, Darby has 56 defensive tackles and 5 interceptions.
  10. Today: Monday is the countdown day to 75 excluding non-counters. If I’m not mistaken, the non-counters are: 2020: DB Noah Hallet WR Brendan Oleary-Orange K/P Marc Liegghio DT Nicholas Dheilly LB Tanner Cadwallader 2021: DB Resha Kramdi LB Robie Lowes RB Kyle Borsa WR Macho Bockru 2021 Global: LB Les Mauro OL Tomoya Machino LB Ayo Oyelola That makes 12 players will unfortunately be sent back home.
  11. Maybe he can't spell anymore?
  12. He was not permitted to join the team in practice past 2 days (I believe) while waiting for the result. By all account, result turned out false-positive, so he joined the team today .
  13. Not sure. If he's tested positive he shouldn't be talking with other guys.
  14. https://www.bluebombers.com/2021/07/15/im-winnipeg-learn-agudosi-ready-opportunity/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter that's a tall receiver... Carlton Agudosi 6'6" 220... reminds me of Gregg Carr
  15. Meredith on the mend already. 🙁
  16. if they're wearing their own #'s, first match is 37 S Brandon Alexander vs 84 WR Ardarius Stewart. The 84 in the vid seems bigger than 37. There are two 84 in the roster Stewart who stands at 6.0 and the other is Malcom Lewis who stands at 5.10. Not sure with the second pairing. The defender seems to be #83 WR Alonzo Russell Sr (6.4). cant figure out the # of the other guy.
  17. I believe, its... mano a mano = hand to hand mano y mano = hand and hand
  18. He was present yesterday by all accounts.
  19. I don’t care which team has the best five or ten players this year. The team with the best *depth* will win. If the backend of your roster is full of guys who can step into a starting role without hurting you, you’ve got a good chance to win your division. https://3downnation.com/2021/07/14/insider-talk-saskatchewans-achilles-tears-expensive-o-lines-are-xfl-talks-really-dead/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=insider-talk-saskatchewans-achilles-tears-expensive-o-lines-are-xfl-talks-really-dead
  20. WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed American running back Devonte Williams. The 24-year-old Southeastern Louisiana product rushed for 892 yards and 12 touchdowns through the 2018 and 2019 seasons with the Lions. He added 720 receiving yards and three touchdowns and dabbled in punt and kick returns as well. https://www.cfl.ca/2021/07/13/bombers-bring-rb-devonte-williams/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
  21. I thought it would be a 13-man PR and 5-man taxi squad ? Brian Ramsay, the CFLPA’s executive director, said Tuesday the two sides agreed on more than 19 amendments. Among them was limiting the number of Global players a team must have this year from two to one, which in turn reduced active rosters by one player to 45. However, CFL teams will also be allowed five-player taxi squads (which all clubs can access) in addition to their 13-man practice rosters. https://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/article-cflpa-feels-biggest-amendment-it-reached-with-cfl-was-getting-players/
