  1. In 2019 we carry 7 DL with the Jefferson, Jeffcoat, Nevis, Richardson, Thomas, Kongbo & Hansen. I figure, we will have 2 Jeffs, Thomas, Kongbo who will play at DT (I think), Hansen and Antigha. So thats your 7. Not sure who will you sit. Someone would say Thomas but even if you start Kongbo you need a backup Cdn DL still.
  2. Sorry. Max 20 American. So yeah add Grant.
  3. My Americans for Week1. Max of 20 required. OL: Bryant, Hardrick REC: Lawler, Bailey, Stewart, Nelson - I'm assuming Adams is out, and O'Shea will prefer Nelson over McKnight on Week1 DL: Jefferson, Jeffcoat, Richardson, Antigha LB: Bighill, Wilson, Johnson (SAM), Rocquemore DB: Alexander, Jones, Taylor, Nichols, Alford - I got a feeling Darby is out for Week1 just a hunch. ST: Grant
  4. My guess for Cdn on Week1 roster. Minimum of 20 is required OL - Desjarlais, Couture, Neufeld, Eli REC - Demski, Wolitarski, Tyrell RB - Oliveira, Augustine, Miller - I'm assuming Harris is out for Week1 DL - Thomas, Kongbo LB - Briggs, Gauthier, Cadwallader DB - Nick Hallett, Noah Hallet (or Kramdi) ST - Benson, Legghio, Crapigna - I'm assuming they will carry both kicker, I dont like it though. So the last spot is a toss-up between DB Kramdi, LB Maruo (Global) or OL Gray If only one kicker will play, maybe there's a chance Gray will be in the lineup. But I still think O'Shea will go with a backup LB or DB.
  5. I think they will carry 2 kickers on gameday. If not, O’Shea will add another LB or DB (for ST) instead of a 7th OL.
  6. I think Eli will be the 6th OL, not Gray. Your 6th OL should be the backup Center since its easier to slide someone to Guard than on Center. If your Center goes down and no one from your OL doesnt know to snap the ball, your screwed. We carry Speller as the 6th OL last year.
  7. yup worse trade ever. Back on December 12, 2011 former Edmonton Eskimos GM Eric Tillman stunned the CFL by dealing Ricky Ray to the Toronto Argonauts for a first-round pick , quarterback Steven Jyles and kicker Grant Shaw.
  8. Im guessing youre not happy with our incumbent receivers? 😂
  9. I'm waiting to see vets that will be among cuts across the CFL today.
  10. That and also figuring out who are willing to be in the practice roster.
  11. Only HAM and MTL are left WPG - SSK - EDM - CGY - OTT - SSK - TOR - BC - TOR - BC - EDM
  12. Shawn Lemon cut by Elks also. Guessing he will be back with the Leos.
  13. Same reason Elizondo gave in cutting Stafford.
  14. LB Vontae Diggs was released by Elks.
  15. Did Leggs drank any of Westy's drink by any chance?
  16. It's a given that Grant will be one of the DIs as our primary kick returner, that's why I did not listed him on the receiver groups. Nelson will be another DI taking Lucky's position before as backup receiver/DI. I could see RB Devonte Williams in this position as well but I think the coaches will chose to field more vets as possible.
  17. I stand corrected then.
  18. I believe it's on Arbuckle. He doesn't want to re-sign with Ottawa. That's why the RedBlacks was forced to cut him and pickup Nichols on the process. If Nichols is still being bothered by that shoulder injury, that's really sad. And how can he effectively throw that 6-8 yarders. So sorry for Lapo too, he may end having no QB again, in his second gig as a head coach.
  19. I'm probably stating the obvious here, but there is no rookie mini-camp this year unlike the previous years. If I recall it correctly, those rookie mini-camps are pre-dominantly WRs and DBs and a handful of players in other positions and only a handful of those rookies really make it to the main camp.
  20. Thought that was Blake Jackson. He got surgery and was sent home already.
  21. Regarding receivers, let's do the math. I would assume the starters for Week1 will be: Lawler, Bailey, Demski, Wolitarsky and Stewart. For backups: Nelson as DI and 1 of Tyrell/O'leary-Orange for Canadian. I could see Borsa here too as Demski-type guy. I'm assuming Adams and Meredith will be on IR in Week1. So between the taxi-squad and PR you put maybe 3 or 4 guys: Just guessing maybe Agudosi, McKnight for Americans and the other of Tyrell/O'leary-Orange for Canadian. So that leaves you only 2 or 3 receivers to cut: Crockett, Grayson and Alexander. Yeah, we brought too many receivers.
  22. In a regular year, CFL teams only have 10-man practice roster to fill. This year, they will have a 5-man taxi squad and 13-man practice roster to fill out. Because in any case one or two player tested positive of COVID (knock on wood), they will have players that are ready to go.
  23. Because the logic is dumb too. Suggesting that the Bombers are not happy with their receiving corps because they don't have a 1000-yd receiver in 2019 is dumb. Forgetting the fact that it's partly by design and play-calling by Lapo. Our offensive plays in 2019 are RUN heavy because why not, we have a dual threat in the backfield with Harris and Streveller, our OL dominate on the run plays and that's our best chance to win. I agree that they bring in competition to upgrade, not only the receiver position. If the new ones beat the incumbents that's an upgrade. Bombers do that every year. Every team does that every year. But to say they bring in competition because they are not happy with the current ones, that's dumb.
  24. So if the Bombers starts say Stewart or Agudosi in place of Adams in Week1, does that mean they are not happy with Adams? Or say Adams is healthy for Week1 and we have are incumbents starts in Week1 and no newcomer/rookie in gameday roster, does that mean they are not happy with the new receivers?
