there’s a lot of odds going against the CFL rookies/new comers: - no pre-season games - learning curve to adjust to pro/CFL game - coaches desire to field a vet-heavy roster because of a shortened season I understand that the vets havent played for 600 days but we can say the same for most of these rookies/new comers too. And by all accounts, the coaches and the athletic staff are monitoring these vets for the past few months.

I think some of these guys will end up in Riders 100-man taxi squad.

without the benefit of pre-season games, its a totally waste to bring in tcfs. barring any injuries, there’s only one starting position left to fill which is the field-side CB. the new guys need to be solid for them to at least be considered for a spot on the PR.

X FACTOR: CB Mike Jones Lost in the work of so many of the Bombers stars in the ’19 Grey Cup playoffs was the emergence of Jones at the cornerback spot opposite Rose. He did play some @ Safety position too, though that was on Chris Jones Defense.

Worse comes to worst - Harris declines and Augustine/Oliviera/Borsa are not good enough - then we can go back to 🇺🇸 RB. I do think we have 🇨🇦 content to make the switch.

I believe, 100 includes global and draftees. With the current cap and the health protocols possibly being the reason. I could be wrong though and most of the time, I am.

I believe teams must cut down to 100 players before the start of the training camp. By my count, the Bombers is at 107 player as of now.

I believe their projected starters will be: Vaughn - Boyko - Clark - Johnson - and any rookie Amer RT. Good thing Fajardo can run, he'll be doing that a lot. 6th OL will be any of their rookie Cdn that can backup Clark in the middle. I believe JSJ cant play Centre.
