Winnipeg Blue Bombers TC 2022
Super Duper Negatron replied to Noeller's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
To be fair, it was/is a great marketing gimmick, and I am glad it has stuck around. -
I...what?
-
The thing is, unless it is a properly fitted n95, the benefit to you is negligible. They always said early on the masks were to protect others...not sure if the science on that has changed.
-
Vacationing in California right now. Covid protocols are a distant memory here. Between Disney and crypto.com arena, I think I saw like 50 masks. Started off wearing one myself, but gave up. It seemed futile.

If that is true, then paying him more as a Global makes no sense. I feel like we are arguing the same point. 😅 -

I guess I look at it as a development spot. If a Global player is good enough to play over an international, then they get paid like one and you can develop another one. -

I still feel like I am missing something. Can't they just sign him as an International for whatever salary they want? -
Dear schools, **** off with your remote learning. With love, Me.

Shortening the field is an example of a big change that *could* have benefits without changing the game too much. It would get push back, but fans would be open to it if the benefits were clear. 4 downs is something different entirely. -

That is a garbage tweet from Farhan. -
Wouldn't have voted for him, but good for Obby. Made this community his home, built up some successful business ventures and got elected as a Muslim to the Conservative party in Manitoba.

Haha! Saw the news about Dunstone and immediately thought about Noeller.

Devil's advocate: if you look at the Global position as a development spot, once a player develops to be good enough to displace an "International"/American (and good enough to pay them like one) why not call them an international at that point and develop a new Global player? They are eligible, they just take up an American spot at that point. Unless I am completely missing something. -
Derek Taylor (DT) named new voice of the Blue Bombers
Super Duper Negatron replied to JCon's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
Welcome Derek. Please proceed through the decontamination chamber on your way into the province. If any green remains, self isolate for at least 14 days until symptoms improve. -

Sounds like a good choice to me. -
Why not the next Geroy Simon? ******* media in this country: https://3downnation.com/2022/02/22/participants-hopeful-new-cfl-program-will-help-create-next-martin-st-louis-or-john-lynch/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=participants-hopeful-new-cfl-program-will-help-create-next-martin-st-louis-or-john-lynch

I think he is mediocre, but vastly underrated on these boards. *dons flame retardant suit* -

For all his flaws, last years Bomber team could win a Grey Cup with Fajardo. -
The time difference doesn't help. But even given that, I used to wake up and religiously check results and medal counts, but now I have trouble caring. I think as I have gotten older, the corrupt business nature of the games has soured me on it a bit. Other than my wife watching curling, we haven't had it on. I don't even know Canada's mens hockey record! Of course, the last 5 years of Jets hockey I have had less and less interest as well. In that case the quality of the team is certainly a factor. You would think the pandemic would have me begging for entertainment options, but I often find my time better spent elsewhere than watching the Jets these days. I should add: every time they add a new event/sport I just roll my eyes. Monobob? Aerials vs. big air? Team and mixed everything. It's a novelty act at this point.
