Dumb question

Thanks for that. I had started there but I didn't slide it all the way into the clip, so it kept popping back out. What a great keepsake. -

It just sits there though? There is no trick to it? -
Received a sweet replica ring for Christmas with display case. Question: does it really just sit loosely on the pedestal in the case? Seems like it would knock off easily. There is a plastic clip but I can't figure out its purpose. https://photos.app.goo.gl/YrAmtqk9Tvhu9rud8

White-boarded is the new form of torture.

Isn't Black Friday next week?

Great idea except who will be teaching those classes?

I liked it too. The misogynistic nerds on YouTube hated it because "girls!", but I enjoyed it.

Trump catching up in Arizona, Biden running out of runway in Georgia. This might not end the way people hope.

Well, the good news is my son's result came back early, and negative. Only took about 36 hours. I wonder if the backlog is clearing up. The bad news is my lie about it being "just like a Q-Tip" has been exposed, so getting him tested again if he ever needs it will be a struggle.

Fingers crossed.

The pinching and zooming of the wall in a desperate search for blue crumbs is all too familiar. Prediction: there is more red in those unopened envelopes than CNN thinks.

The way the electoral college is setup, Trump is almost perfectly positioned to break everyone's hearts again.

So, my kid woke up with a sore throat and runny nose on Monday, and given then new guidelines that means our entire family has to self isolate until his test results come back. The timeline I was given is 2-4 days. I am sorry but that is insane. Either a) both my kids miss a week of school and our work lives are disrupted because one of them has a cold, or b) 4 days from now we have to trace our steps to notify recent contacts they might have been exposed to covid over a week ago. Neither of these is acceptable. Until test results are available same day, you are going to have parents and caregivers ignoring the rules because it is just not sustainable. Upside is I get to watch my largely healthy kids fight over the Playstation while I try to listen to a Teams call.

Jeebus help us. This will be a **** show.

He means zero changes since the supposedly new measures were introduced this past week.

In shocking news that nobody could have predicted, Murkowski has decided to vote to confirm Barrett.

I am no defender of Graham but could it be that *gasp* Obamagate is just utter bullshit? Nah....

So the fact that Fox News killed the story due to questions about authenticity...does what for your point, exactly?
-
The new restrictions seem pointless. Other than closing bars, the rest are basically things that were already being followed (50% capacity) or won't be (good luck enforcing number on private gatherings...people will just ignore that). Like, oh good, the masked parents at my kids hockey game have to sit even further apart... meanwhile the kids all pile on each other in the corner of the ice.

Trump: All these mail in ballots will result in mass voter fraud! Also Trump: Encourages voter fraud. Trump again: See? I was right!

This is exactly what I am seeing as well.

If someone in your household has been tested, to me everyone in that household should self isolate until the results come back, asymptomatic or not. There have already been multiple instances in my kid's school alone where a child is at home due to a recent test, but their sibling is still going to school. The province would tell you that is perfectly acceptable, but to me it makes absolutely no sense.

So asymptomatic, socially distanced, masked students still spread this thing like wildfire. Huzzah!
