I would have just eliminated the PI and Illegal Contact challenges entirely. The Command Center screws them up anyways. The fact that a decision on a subjective call doesn't involve the input of the official that originally made it is ludicrous to me.

The fact that you say "clearly" makes you lose all credibility. How anyone can watch that video and say anything but inconclusive is beyond me.

In Paul's case he represents the paper, and his only duty is to sell more of them. He writes this crap because it gets a reaction. He all but admitted last week in a column that he doesn't bother writing stuff anymore that he knows won't get as many page views.

And I'm not sure if people are familiar with Patti, but she is formerly Pat Doyle, who used to regularly bring the snark when writing for...the Sun I think? It is no surprise that she would defend Wiecek because her shtick was similar back in the day.

I think the problem is every year we are sold a bill of goods that maybe, for once, WE could be an elite team. The problem is this team is usually less #FTW and more #WTF.

It's to the point where big leads actually make me angry, because all I can think about is how many ways they will find to blow it. And they do! I long to cheer for a team where I can actually enjoy when my team plays well because there is a reasonable expectation that it will continue for the whole game. I turned the game off after the brand dead fake. Writing was on the wall. This franchise is exhausting to cheer for.
