    Danny Maciocia maybe? He was offered the president's job back in 2016 but turned it down (essentially saying his vision for the club didn't line-up with the Wetenhall's) but maybe he'll accept under new ownership. He also recently said he would listen if Wally called about the GM job so it would seem he does have an interest in returning to the CFL.

    100% it's because of the other clubs. Making your pending free agents wait around and potentially watch their NFL opportunities evaporate is not a great way to attract/retain players especially when you see other teams not holding guys back.

    Arbuckle can still end up in Toronto if he doesn't like what Ottawa is offering.

    Definitely weird. I remember my 1st time there and I was looking north across the river at Detroit and it felt so backwards.

    I would have said the same thing about Jefferson when we signed him! Training camp with Marshall and Darvin would be fun to watch... they've had some pretty intense match-ups the last couple years.

    I was just looking at the FA list... Evans and Mincey were two of the names that stood out to me the most. Nick Marshall too but the stink of Regina is too strong!

    Yep, and while losing Rose & Sayles is a definite loss, Walters can use that money towards picking up a DB in FA. He also doesn't have to worry about the pay raises both guys were (deservedly) going to want next season.

    That's a relief... I don't want to see any changes to our current look, well nothing major anyhow.

    That was my initial reaction after seeing his chart. It makes more sense if you read his article where he broke things down into a few categories like a lock to happen, unlikely to happen or what he would like to see personally. I still disagree with 95% of it but at least I can kinda see where he was coming from now. At the end of the day, it's an off-season filler article that anyone of us could have come up with (and most likely done a better job).

    I also think they are being mindful that they (the elite and cody) as bookers, don't come across as being too WCW-ish by putting themselves over rather than trying to elevate others. It's a tough balancing act because, at this point, they are head and shoulders above everyone else (with a couple exceptions).

    Taylor worked here for a few years but he's not from here originally. He's an Albertan who has moved around for school/work (Ontario, Manitoba, back to Ontario and now Sask).

    Only if they stay healthy... some of their players are not happy that they play 12 straight weeks.(weeks 7-18). They have 2 of their byes in the first 6 weeks of the season.
