They could go that route but the fact that they introduced him as Victor Von Doom leads me to believe they will treat it as a separate character. They have a Disney+ show called "what if" to do what you're talking about. The demon armor scenario would have him playing Tony Stark again (just with Dooms personality). They could use the multiverse and make Doom a variation of Stark (ex: in another universe, that version of Tony Stark is adopted as a baby and raised as Victor Von Doom). Same person physically but different personality because of how he was raised.

They'll have to draft Kurtis if they want him but they may not get the chance, depending on where they pick. He was, at one point, the top ranked prospect for the 2024 draft but deferred to next year.

Different characters but they are similar in the sense that they are both uber-rich techno geniuses who become super heroes/villians under a metal mask.

To me, when almost the entire team is collectively shitting the bed like that, it's beyond correcting a couple mistakes. There need to be changes. What consequences has Demski ever had for these repeated mistakes? Or any of the vets for that matter. Do any of the vets ever get stapled to the bench? Neufeld tonight was the first I can really remember, and that just as likely could have been due to injury rather than poor play (maybe whiplash from watching guys blow past him?).
