Blue Bombers - 2025 Regular Season - Discussion Thread
bigg jay replied to Atomic's topic in Blue Bomber Discussion
There's been a significant lack of scarves in the league since Ambrosie left. New mandate requiring all coaches and executives to wear them at CFL events. -
Lots of parity this year. No easy pick for the #1 team as everyone has taken turns looking like trash.
-
A vastly under qualified OC using the old junior varsity playbook he created years ago in Quebec?
-
Could have also been a poorly designed play call that brought two receivers close together.
-
Struggling OL, QB, OC and the receivers could also do a better job helping out. Our entire offense (with very few exceptions like BO) is a mess.
-
Lapo also said Strevy needed to grow a pair and stay in the pocket longer (needs to hold his water a bit longer was the phrase he used) to go through his reads or let the play develop instead of automatically tucking the ball and trying to run.
-
My post count would be significantly less without sarcasm! 😂
-
And why did Ottawa extend him ?
-
Friends reference.
-
Give Demski his shovel pass. His streak is one of the only good things going right now.
-
Addison is such a whiny little *****. Crying for a flag after every play.
-
Tripled his passing yards all at once.
-
Osh to be fired.

Just drove past that area and it was pretty dead (for a Saturday lunch hour). I'm sure the weather played a part, but traffic was a breeze.

Looked like a prime JT grabbing the air and then eating dirt. I hate seeing this version of him. -
When his biggest advocate (BO) is throwing shade about not being put in a position to succeed and Hogan himself admitting he's made mistakes and is still learning, I don't think you can compare the flack he's getting with what past OC's have gotten. The heat he is getting is absolutely deserved where as the previous guys you could argue and make a legitimate defense for.
-
JT is going to have Dru running for his life! 😂
-
Yes, listed as practicing fully on Tuesday and Wednesday but went got extended on the 6 game on Thursday.
-
He was re-upped on the 6 game list about a week and a half ago so he's not eligible to practice anymore. Don't think it was ever mentioned here (or in the media) though.

Sounds like this is what Younger wants: Hogan: "It's humbling. It's an awesome experience." - Winnipeg Blue Bombers -
I used to believe that but I haven't seen anything recently that gives me that confidence. Unlike MOS thinking he still has 2019 Strevy, I don't believe we have the 2019 Trinity.

Blue Bombers - 2025 Regular Season - Discussion Thread

Ferguson decided to throw Lirim on there, knowing he doesn't have a legit shot at MOC. If it was a true top 5 list, I'm sure BO would have been there (or should have been). Lirim (and a few other guys) should have been put in an honorable mention category, IMO. -
I would also suggest to the people finding the negativity unbearable, that they are more than welcome to provide some positive topics to discuss. I'll start - can we celebrate Nic Demski for a minute? He seems to be getting better with age & is on pace for a career season right now (sitting at 882 receiving yards and his current average would have him around 1220 yards after a full season). He's only a few yards behind McInnis (888 yds) for the top Canadian receiver despite the quality of QB'ing we've had this season. Knock on wood that he can stay healthy and keep it going this year.
-
He also has Parkinson's, not just dementia so he could possibly have been approved based on that diagnosis. The catch to mental health issues and MAID is that he has to choose to do it while he is still competent. If he waits too long, he won't have the capacity to choose to go through with it. Better too soon than to late is what it comes down to.
