Covid is hitting closer to home more and more. Found out last night that a guy I've played slo-pitch with for the last decade, is one of the icu patients being sent out of province after being put in a medically-induced coma. It's scary to think that he's in the same age group (early to mid 40's) as I am and while I don't know if he has any underlying issues, he seemed to be in fairly decent shape. A friend's daughter-in-law has been in a similar scenario for a couple weeks except for being moved out of province and there are other issues involved. I'm very ready for this to be over now. 😔

I think its more amazing he didn't die in prison. He could have and probably should have been locked up for some of the things he did to people. The episode of Darkside of the ring about him is pretty disturbing, especially with him sitting there laughing about some of those incidents.

Yep. It is likely the fastest main card, at least for the modern era at 20 minutes and 56 seconds. UFC 146 (all heavyweight main card) was the fastest until last night (21 min and 50 seconds) AFAIK. Ironically, Usman/Masvidal 1 (ufc 251) was the longest total event in ufc history.

1st time some one has won a ufc fight without throwing a strike. The leg break itself isn't unheard of, the fact it happened so fast is what makes it unusual. Weidman has now been on both sides a nasty leg break. Dana was quite livid at some Las Vegas newspaper for reporting that tickets for the event came with a disclaimer that attendees were putting themselves at a health risk. 🙄
