Just saw that... hope he pulls through. He was recently talking about making a comeback after 6 years of retirement.
  2. If Pence is actually that exasperated already, how does he expect to last the next 3.5 years? It's not like this is going away anytime soon.
  3. On the post game show, Osh said she should have challenged the one late in the game. He said he thought it was for a hit to the head but was told that wasn't the reason for the flag. I don't think he said what the actual reason was though, his point was more about that's the call he should have challenged but didn't.
  4. Yep, I understand why the club does it the way they do so I appreciate the new upgraded version. I'm not sure if it's possible to toggle between modes, but it would be nice to see replays in full screen mode so we really get a good look then switch back to the usual mode with the stats & stuff for live play. That, for me, would be the best of both worlds.
  5. The IGF screens are slightly bigger than what the New York Jets have at MetLife Stadium (30x123 vs 30x118) but they are able to use the full screen with no problems so that tells me it's strictly an advertising thing, not technical. Here's a couple pictures from MetLife in full screen mode.
  6. I saw Williams on kick coverage last night.
  7. Well if he turns out to be a typical Rider, he'll probably end up standing in front of a judge before long!
  8. Looks like Hardaway is doing his thing again & costing another client money. " Sources say the Eskimos made Behar a take it or leave it offer: $77,000 in year one “guaranteed money” with exactly the same total cash over three seasons as Vandervoort who was picked No. 3 overall. However, over the last few weeks, Edmonton general manager Brock Sunderland reduced the offer by at least $20,000 as days passed without an agreement. 9. For those who were asking about Judge: http://3downnation.com/2017/06/15/cam-judge-riders-top-2017-draft-pick-regina-bound/
  10. No TV. Bombers & Toronto have no televised pre-season games this year.
  11. It's usually stand-up training geared towards mma rather than boxing. How you stand/move for boxing is different than how you would for MMA (don't have to worry about kicks or takedowns in boxing). The glove size also make a big difference... way easier to block a punch thrown with a 14oz glove compared to a 6oz one so you have to change your style for that too.
  12. Both guys now confirming it. https://sports.yahoo.com/conor-mcgregor-floyd-mayweather-confirm-fight-century-214650942--mma.html
  13. Speller is out with a lower body issue. Don't know the diagnosis but he's definitely sidelined right now.
  14. My thoughts exactly. I'm sure I would have loved him had he coached here though. As much I disliked him, I could never argue with his success. RIP to The Don
  15. Still open season on MLB I guess? Temple is listed ahead of Knox & Hurl on that chart but he's been at OLB for most of camp.

  17. It is a bit weird (IMO) that they're content with only having 3 QB's right now. I wonder if they talked to him about sitting on the PR and he wasn't interested.
  18. His 2-6 outing on Saturday says he's not as accurate as you would suggest. At least one of his misses was due to his rocket arm sailing the ball over the receivers head. IIRC after that throw, Bob & Doug were talking about him needing to take a little bit off the ball sometimes. When I saw him in camp, he looked OK for a 4th string guy but certainly not a guy who was ready to challenge for a roster spot.
  19. Sounds like a fun day at TC today.
  20. Hello Tuscaloosa, why the name change?
  21. Looked through the depth charts from last year and you are correct. Frederick only played CB while Fogg was strictly HB last year.
  22. With with way guys like Carmichael & Smalley have played so far, I'm not overly surprised by Frederick. Thought he'd last longer though.
  23. Even back then NJPW was drawing bigger crowds. Their 1st January Tokyo Dome show (which is now called Wrestle Kingdom) drew 50k in 1992.
  24. I think you are perhaps underestimating NJPW and overestimating the NWA. It's not easy to compare them though just based on the fact that the ways people watch are so different now. We can compare live attendance though and NJPW wins hands down. Omega/Okada 1 had 26k in attendance compared to 8k for Flair/Steamboat (and only 130k in ppv buys) . The rematches were 11.8k vs 5.3k also in favour of New Japan.
