What does Bauming gain by saying that? He doesn't work for the team so he has no reason to lie. Someone asked him if he thought the team would be bringing some new blood in & he said they had made attempts. Whether or not that actually results in players being brought in, is another thing.

Bauming tweeted a week or two ago, that the bombers had been trying to make some moves so it doesn't seem like that's the case this year. Dunk says multiple teams had been asking about Green previously & were denied but he might be available now that Toronto is out. Wonder if we were one of those teams?

The UFC should have expected this. They had no problem using the bus incident in promoting this fight, so they lost any right to be mad about this. Knowing them though, they'll probably just use tonight to promote a rematch.
